Just read on Rivals that we have stopped recruting him. Staff has decided there are too many unanswered questions.

He has alread committed to WVU I believe. Sounds like grades to me.

....but doesnt osu have basically the same grade standard that all ncaa fbs schools follow, via NCAA regulation? if so, going to wvu doesnt really make sense

I don't believe so. I believe the NCAA has a standard requirement, but many schools have even stricter requirements (kinda like oversigning in the SEC, but just different subject matter). Ohio State's aren't crazy-stringent like Notre Dame, but they are not low either. I've heard for years that just about anybody can get into WVU.

Stinker... but that happens with setting standards. I think it is kind of silly myself since football players are no longer going to college for college, but until that changes this will have to happen.
