It seems to be a silly thing, but for a guy who is torn over a decision like this... Watching Louisville win a big game last night might tip the scales to Louisville's favor for Mr. Quick? I would love to read other's opinions on this.

I am afraid that it might have tipped the scale in Louisville's favor. Unfortunately for tOSU, this may be the last thing in his mind before he makes his decision.
We shall see soon enough.
Here is a topic already in the forum with opinions about the subject for you to peruse: http://www.elevenwarriors.com/forum/football/2013/01/james-quick
Yeah, sorry. I didn't notice the other post until I posted this. I did look for one, but maybe I must've missed it.

Is this real life??...
Lol yes it is
And it'll happen again tonight and tomorrow and ....
No, OSU leads
Ah, I see 247 has a nice little update. Fingers crossed!
^^^This Wiltfong talked to him today says good guys still lead.
All I've seen from Bill Greene and others lately is he's all Buckeyes. We'll see what happens on Saturday...

See this is why I disagree with the whole down voting thing. This guy is posting a forum about James quick. Yes I know there have been many. This guy may not know that so what do you kids do, You down vote him just cause you have read to many forums about the same topic. Bull sh##. He just lost four helmet stickers cause people have posted the same stuff. You guys are ridiculous with this down voting thing. Larry let's just wait till the game this weekend and we will see where the young man takes his talent. I would give you a helmet sticker if I could just because these people down vote anything and everything.

@ GOBUCKS_ALL DAY:
It's bc you have "children" here as opposed to adults acting like such. Personally...when I saw that 11W was doing the up/down voting...I thought it was pretty cool. Then I started to see how ppl were acting with it and then abruptly changed my mind. Especially when it's just a simple difference of opinion on a situation, blog post or whatever. Or in this case...a person just trying to start a Blog post to see others "opinions" and he gets flamed bc he feels that one game could sway Quick's decision.
I'll be honest...I thought Louisville's win may matter until I read some things today and now it seems things are still looking favorably for OSU when concerning Quick. We're (us that read recruiting info here) not anywhere near experts...so lets just leave it up to them, give our "opinions" in peace...and wait and see on Friday and Saturday. That's what I think....

Know what is even more annoying? Talking about it in every thread...
I agree about the downvoting. I am very judicious about it, and really the only thing I would downvote is a "you suckeyes blow" or something equally unuseful. Thanks for the good comments.

doubt he makes a decision where to play college ball on one game. he seems very methodical and takes his time in his decision. no way one game makes a big difference.
THIS
People, he has spent YEARS building up relationships with coaching staffs and getting to know schools. If you think a single game is going to tip the scale, then you don't quite understand why players commit to the school they are going to commit to.
NOW, if you wanted to say that this helps Louisville with getting into the ears of the '14 or '15 recruits, you would be absolutely correct. This is the sort of game that catches the attention of recruits and gets them knocking on your door, curious for more. If Strong was at all smart (which he is) this game would be playing on Louisville's scoreboard every damn day a recruit is on campus for the next 5 years (kinda like we do with the Rose Bowl and National Championship).
Cause I couldn't go for three
I am not suggesting that game is the sole or biggest reason he would select Louisville. But if he was still truly on the fence, an emotional win by the hometown team, with your friends and family all excited, might tip the scales that little bit. I agree he seems to be a methodical kid and has done his homework. I wish him well wherever he goes.

It can't hurt for Louisville. But you have to think about the future. The future is very bright at OSU. BCS games, including national title games, are very likely in the future for this program. Who knows about the long-term viability of Louisville? They got it done in a BCS game this year, but will they get back to one next year? What happens after Bridgewater leaves? What if Strong bolts? At OSU, his odds of playing in BCS bowls and national titles are much higher. Louisville was undefeated well into the year and may not have made it to the title game even if they went undefeated based on how the rankings were looking. If they went undefeated, they would probably still have played Florida in the Sugar Bowl. If OSU goes undefeated next year, it's hard to argue that a team on a 25 game winning streak doesn't deserve to be in the title game. After next year is the playoff, improving OSU's chances even further at a title. There's a lot to consider, and while this big win can't hurt Louisville, it won't make Quick automatically say "well I'm definitely going to Louisville now!"
Class of 2010.
I think he was going to L-ville before this game and this is just icing on the cake.
Quick will be going to lousville.
