If we land him there's a strong chance he starts on the outside opposite Devin right away. Pretty crazy to think of both starting WRs on a strong national title contender being from the same family tree.
I think we get him if we want him (and I think we do).
He is a very polished, true slit end which we really need on this team.

Doran grant posted a pic on instagram saying Corey is a future buckeye and when another person said he was committed to miss st he said there was a change of plans

It's not a gang sign. Grant and Smith are both from Akron, where the area code is 3-3-0. Grant has the first 3. Smith has the 3-0. His other hand is drawing attention to it.
For the record, Almighty Stoned Freaks are almost exclusively white, and if Grant were flashing the Black Disciples sign, his hand wouldn't be sideways, it'd be upright.

I think this is in reply to me. I'm from Cincinnati - I figured out the 3-3-0 thing using context clues and Google.
Been to Akron a few times, though. And lived in Cleveland for a year.

Yeah, I'm a Michigan fan (and grad). My parents (and grandparents, and sister, and three sets of aunts and uncles) all went to Michigan. When I talk to OSU fans about it, I tend to joke that they'd see it as a birth defect.

Nothing wrong with having loyalty to a school you and your whole family went to. The TTUN fans that have no ties to the university and live in Ohio are the ones that annoy me. It's like they are rebelling against their dads or something.

At least you've got one thing right. Boston is an incredible city. My company has an opening there for my same position I'm doing in NE Ohio, and I'm definintely weighing my options. The entire New England area has been wonderful every time I've been there. Can't wait to go back.
OHIOBORN, Boston is a great town. Been here a long time. It's a pro town. I went to tOWU but was an Ohio State fan starting in the early '70's. Being from Toledo (ottawa hills) many friends and even some family attened Michigan. "you know toledo is closer to Ann Arbor than Columbus?". Welcome to Bean Town.....

According to ESPN Timmons cancelled his visit. I'm guessing its because of Smith?
Ohio State cancelled his visit, likely because they like their chances with Smith and Gibson.
I highly doubt it was OSU. Dont know why it is so important for some on hear to think that. For one OSU set the date. Two that required Timmons Timmons to cancel his plans to play in the Ky Tn all star game that is being televised on Fox right now. He no doubt is probably #3 or #4 on the list of only 1 or 2 slots available but he is still on their list until people are signed. I think Timmons made the call gave coaches his reason. Coaches concur and it is what it is.
Why is it so important for you and a few others to think OSU were the ones to cancel? Its not like this was an ugly separation. Im happy for OSU being able to attract top talent and I am happy Timmons can go to a place where he has a chance to prove himself. I personally think some of us will continue to root for OSUs NC next year and some of us will enjoy hearing about Timmons success next year.
Everywhere is reporting it was OSU with a possibility of rescheduling. Put your man crush/near religious praise of him go. That makes most sense, if he still had a chance at being a Buckeye, he would be visiting. From what you and others have said, he WANTED to be a Buckeye, so if there was a chance he was in, he'd visit. You can't have it both ways.

FYI I just googled Ryan Timmons cancelled visit and the first 3 247, Rivals, and ESPN all said Timmons cancelled. The 4th on the list 11W said Ohio State cancelled.

If anything, I think we can all agree it'll be nice not hearing his name come up 100x a day. Pry the most talked about recruit ever on this board and we'll most likely never hear about him again.
I for one hope Timmons cancelled the visit, how classless would it be for the staff to cancel a visit the day before. I want to think more highly of them than that. Seems all visits that they actually cancelled were done way in advance not in the 11th hour.

Here in frankfort, the story is, timmons cancelled because of no offer. Rescheduling is not out of the question but it isnt likely, take that fwiw.

I think the problem some have with Way is that he sometimes does have on blinders when it comes to Timmons and UK. Timmons isn't going to get an offer but it's not the end of the world. Kid is gonna get a Full scholarship to a D-1 school PAID. He'll star earlier at any of the schools that have offered. Ryan had his chance to blow away TOSU staff at Friday night lights and did not. He was a fallback option that we didn't need. End of story.

I will say this, Waycraken: you might have promoted Timmons with a frenzy at times, but you deserve high props for how well you respond to criticisms. You took a lot of flak, yet were usually humble about it, openminded, always acknowledging good points from others even when those points were inserted into a comment bordering on a personal attack (which is not the case here at all with BP Bucks fans above; I actually meant to say this earlier). Wish I could be as magnanimous.
My only concern with you is that, if Timmons ends up at UK, e.g., you might become one of the fans with allegiances to more than one school/team . . .
I personally liked the Timmons story, a guy who did come to the summer camps and performed very well. He is just like Gardner in that he did everything the staff asked hime to do in order to get an offer, however with the limited schollies a spot wasnt available. Looking forward to seeing how he performs throughout his career.
What I like about this is that it says win now...Brax is ready to go for 2 more seasons so let's gone some guys to go now while the young guns earn their B1G legs. That tweet makes it seem pretty legit.

Hopefully this guy can stay out of trouble. Apparently he was expelled in H.S. and that's why he had to go to a JC. That along with the questionable hand gestures in that picture makes me a little concerned.

He still had to graduate to go the JUCO route. Current coaches say he is a great kid. No problems in Grand Rapids or EMCC. Would be good to bring Ohio talent home.

I was expelled from my HS for accusations of a threat. I never made such threats, eventually returned. I also barely passed HS simply because I refused to do homework(I was busy learning web design, graphic design, and programming instead of repeating stuff a billion times to verify I "knew" it.). Even if this kid DID make a mistake, its a mistake, don't judge people for mistakes long past and during adolescence, we all were foolish.
A lot of folks barely pass high school because there frankly are better things to do than study. I didn't care about school except to keep my grades up so I could play ball. Other than that, my grades suffered because I was either chasing skirts or daydreaming in class when it wasn't one of the seasons. My grammar skills suffered immensely for it! However, when I got into college and had to pay for my schooling myself as well as having different standards to hold to be able to play ball, my GPA was a whole lot better!
Guess because alot you all don't know actual gang signs forreal, makes these two bad apples ... Smh

I watched Clark's highlight tape a few times today. The kid has some skills. I wonder if we (OSU) can really make an impact with him, coming in so late in the recruiting process. I feel confident in our coaches though.
