Thanks for the effort. I'm one of the lazy ones that hate doing the research to find this kind of info out. That's why I come here so often....great posts like this!
Yes, that is very nice as I am lazy too. Thanks for the post. I just hope the one win for the BIG isn't the only.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning! GO BUCKS!!
Surprised by two things.
1) The ACC has a decent record. I really thought they had a down year, coupled with some tough matchups. 3-2 is respectable for a conference that really only has two good teams (FSU and Clem).
2) The PAC-12, at 2-4, is really struggling. I thought many of the matchups were in their favor, particularly USC. UCLA, Oregon St. and Washington all had very winnable matchups as well. With Oregon (-9) and Stanford (-6.5) as strong favorites, the conference may bounce back to 500 by the end of the week. Although, something tells me Wisky may give Stanford a game today. Then again, it's Wisky in the Rose Bowl, so who knows.
True. But it is also Barry Alvarez in the Rose Bowl. I know he hasn't been the coach of Wisky at all and the move is largely ceremonial....But do you remember just how good Barry was in not just the Rose Bowl, but in ALL BOWLS. Never bet against the guy in December or January.
he should just say fuggit and come back
I am always interested to see how conferences do in bowl games. I know the national media will be bashing the BIG, but I think everyone needs to slow down a little. All of the BIG bowl teams are essentially playing 1 game up from where they should be since we have the ban, and teams that finished below PSU are playing 2 bowl games up.
Exactly. I was actually pleasantly surprised with how the B1G fared in bowl games and mostly played competitively.
Northwestern off to a nice start. Purdue getting their asses whipped (no surprise).
Class of 2010.
Updated assuming FSU wins, with 1:20 remaining in the game
what 3 games has the SEC lost? Im only counting 2.
Yeah only LSU and Miss St have lost. They should be 3-2 not 3-3.
I was gonna say I looked at it 3 times over to make sure I wasnt crazy haha.
Florida is the 3rd L? I know that you both posted before that loss, but Chicagobuck was just one step ahead of us! With 3 games left for the sec, would love to see them with a losing record for the bowl season.
