This is a bit surprising because after he announced he was staying at Oregon, he kind of fell off the scene, but at the same time not that surprising. It will be interesting to see how he fairs in the NFL.
Im waiting to see what the NCAA is gonna do as far as the violations Oregon was accused of..Guess the Eagles made the offer he couldn't refuse..One thing for sure he didn't want to coach my Browns...
He may have been staying at Oregon until the NCAA called and asked Oregon to present their "self inflicted" sanctions. Maybe Kelly had the same guys telling him the NCAA was not going to do anything that old Gene Smith had in his ear? Then Kelly found out that paying a street agent and hand written letters of thanks were not a good thing and he decided to bolt?
