Bosa looked like he could come in and compete against D1 talent right now. Hes got a little work to do with his hands but hes more than ready to contribute physically. He was bull rushing guys all day and almost had a pick 6. Look forward to seeing him make an impact in the rotation from day one and be a solid factor as a freshman.

I wanted to see him pick that pass off so bad just to see his wheels and potentially even a devastating stiffarm.
That play reminded me of JJ Watts interception TD this NFL season. I think Bosa will be knocking down a lot of passes during his career at OSU.
He's going to be damn good of he can stay healthy.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning! GO BUCKS!!
He wil be good but he was going against high schoolers. He wouldn't be able to just bull rush against junior and senior offensive linemen. I expect no more than what Spence contributed this year.
I think most of these high schooles are better competition that he'll be playing the majority of his career at OSU. That Oline is probably better than Kent State, Florida A&M and Purdue's Oline.
Plus he's still developing his skills and will continue to do so throughout the summer.
I respecfully disagree. The guys at Kent, Purdue etc are still 21-22 year old MEN, not 18 year old boys. And Purdue has some players in the NFL who are as good as, if not better than, any Buckeye in the league with Drew B. and Ryan K.
Anyway, the talent he played against may be better, but they are still 18 and don't know all the tricks to stop good DEs or DTs
is it just me or does bosa remind u guys of jj watt?
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
That's what a lot of Buckeye fans are saying.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I disagree. I think boss will contribute a lot his freshman year . We lost hankins. Williams. And simon. Spence and Washington also Pittman are Sophmores still young. There is no reason why bosa couldn't climb his way up the depth chart. We are going to have some young guns on the d line next year who? Idk they all are very talented. But to say he wont contribute much . I disagree
Buckeye_For_Life
Pittman actually redshirted I believe.
Buckeye_For_Life
That is correct.
You stole my idea....good stuff.
And yes indeed he'll play...he's a beast and Im sure the staff loves his furosity and playing to the whistle...most coaches do;-)

He looked to be doubled several times in the game. In his one on ones, he won easily. Black team saw the need for some extra attention. Will be tough to double anyone on the d-line next season. Win, win.
That's what I was seeing in the game and I think on one play I believe I even seen a triple team! Can't wait to see him on our d line next year!
I don't believe he is enrolling early, correct? He'll get some playing time, just not start IMO, sort of like spence. Can't wait to see him after coach Mick gets ahold of him. Come to think of it, i can't wait to see Spence after a full year with Coach Mick.
I don't think Bosa is planning on enrolling early at this point. If you go to the 'early enrollers' forum topic, the staff has put together a list of the players that are coming into town this week.
Depending on where he starts his career, DE or DT, could tell a lot about how much he plays. Bennett, Hale, Schutt look to be DTs, and if Washington moves inside, thats 4 pretty good guys, and that's not including Carter who may be here to plug holes etc. Outside we have Miller, Pittman, Spence, Moore. That's 8 or 9 guys who have all played and competed well against talent, and proven they can play.
I think of the 4 DEs, only Pittman seems to be a Strongside end, although both Bennett and Washington can and likely will play there some. So maybe Bosa fits in there early?
Then you have the other guys from this years line in Hill, Sprinkle etc....nice
