It seems like those "Rivalry" uniforms were really popular overall among us. Again, I'm a newb here, but I'm a experienced designer & I decided to take a stab at what the "Away" versions of the uniforms might look like. I also think some slight tweaks to the "Home" version, (like potentially red or silver/chrome facemasks, & gray on the sleeves to appease some of our old die-hards). I'll be working on some different angles of the "Away" jersey, the modified "Home" variant, and I think maybe a "Gray" and/or "Blackout" versions of the unis. I'm also open to requests & ideas! Hope you to hear from the lot of you!
Wow, such a great response! Thank you guys a lot for your input! I figured the majority of the requests asked for a "Blackout" uniform, and also a "Grayout" uni ala the basketball uni. Well I did both and mashed up the Black & Gray unis as well as a modified Home jersey. I hope you guys enjoy these just as much as the first render! GO BUCKS!!!
GT
*Design quips: All jersey sleeves are Gray with our "Block O" style stripe across them & the "Block O" itself in the middle (which can't be seen due to the angle). The helmets are sterling silver. This was fun. =D
And I DID just notice I missed/messed up on some the Nike swooshes, but eh, it's not like they need the extra promo anyway =P Enjoy!!!

JUST ADDED: CLOSE-UPS!!!

I would like to see an alternate gray or black uni.
I like more gray in the white uniforms, that goes for basketball especially.
Too much white looks like boring WisconSin...gray is a rare secondary color...need to incorporate it more.

this aint Oregon
Black jersey/gray pants: Looks like Louisville.
Black jersey/black pants: Looks even more like Louisville.
Gray jersey/gray pants: Looks like practice uniforms.
still all better than that monstrosity you guys wore this year imo
We tried burning down the Athletic Director's house, but they had those fugly jerseys stored elsewhere at an undisclosed location. Our fanbase's relation with adidas has never been worse.
Do as I say, not as my AD does.
Love it!
Love the red face mask
Jim Tressel vs. Rich Rod = Urban Meyer vs. Brady Hoke
watch your tongue. that is a SCARLET Face mask !!!!
Red face mask:
Yeah the red face mask is pulls it together. I think that these things should replace the old unis.
That is crazy awesome.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
We need to go with Karate style belts to intimidate opposing teams... and maybe some sort of Camero inspired spoiler for the back of the helmet. A helmet-mullet?
D. Anthony
Hey here's an idea: why don't we just wear what we've got BECAUSE IT'S THE GREATEST JERSEY AND HELMET HUMANITY HAS EVER SEEN?!
The latest pro combat is just a pronounced tweak on our unis that are tweked every year. Remember Eddie George tucking his jersey under his shoulder pads to show the stomach? Those jerseys were different.
I think that looks bad especially seeing Alabama lineman doing in the MNC game
i enjoy the effort. There is a jersey change coming soon and we all know it. It's about time. Just interested in what it will be. Like others, i am really intrigued as to why the last rivalry jersey never went on sale.
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
I love the current home and away uniforms we use all year but I feel like the 'rivalry' unis come out too often for 'The Game'. Maybe once every 5 years would be more appropriate. On the flip side, I have a cool idea for the 'special unis': how about a BlackOps edition.
"Get him a body bag, Yeah!"
LOVE the grey basketball unis!
(seems like they usually win when they wear them, too)
Nice. Definitely would like to see a blackout uni.
love the black unis. They would look awsome with red or scarlett pants with black jersey!!!!
Am I the only one that didnt really care for this years alternate jersey? I hated the silver numbers and the bright green helmet stickers. Didnt like the black names on the back of the jerseys either.
Edit: oh and I almost forgot the way the leg stripes just abrubtly stopped before making it all the way up the leg.
I admit I didn't care for them either. Thought they looked thrown together and out of place.
maybe not the only one but youre in the minority and the leg stripes are like that because where the stripes are is also where the special ventilation in the pants are so its all seamless and streamlined, thats what helps the jersey weigh far less than the old ones, the 2009 and 2011 ones had the exact same thing and 2010 wouldve too but they were all solid grey. i personally think that they are going to tweak the michigan jersey, probably changing at least 1 of the things you listed, and make it the permanent jersey
I want to comment on "jerseys weighing less." Every new jersey Nike brings out (and forces upon us) is justified with that line. I get that we need lightweight jerseys. And surely kids perform better in today's high tech fabrics than they would wearing heavy wool jerseys from 1910.
But how much lighter can jerseys get? It's not like what they wore last year (which Nike trumpeted as being the greatest and lightest ever) was dreadful. One year Nike intro'd new pants and went on and on about the titanium buckle being lighter. IIRC, it was a tenth of an ounce lighter than the standard steel buckle we've had for years. Really?
It's not about lighter and faster. It's about Nike shoving themselves into the center of attention, it's about kids who love the superhero look, and it's about selling more jerseys because fans have to have the latest look. And most of that makes me sick because we have the greatest helmet ever and (when we had the grey stripes on the sleeves) we had the greatest jersey ever. No one looks at the Mona Lisa and says "You know, if we could put a different dress on her wouldn't she look better?" STOP MESSING WITH THE BUCKEYES UNIS NIKE!!!
hey i think that stuff is all gimmicky too, if it really is 30 percent or so lighter then it might be worth looking at. the other thing id like to point out is the tech specs on those jerseys have been the same since osu first wore them back in 09, nike is driving the pro combat uniform as the new standard for nike outfitted teams and in the nfl, have you noticed the new collar design, thats pro combat. this stuff might all seem stupid, but since you are a member of 11w then im assuming you are more than a casual observer of osu athletics and if thats true then you probably also are concerned with the guys we are able to recruit every year. now, i ask you this, if the gene smith and the rest of the brain trust at osu didnt think the jerseys would be helpful in promoting the success of the program (aka recruiting) do you really think they would have used them...4 different times?
I think they are mostly referring to sweat (moisture) retention when they are talking about "lightweight" clothing
Nice work!
yeah, i love the chrome look. i would be very happy if they kept the jerseys how they have been, except mirror chrome out the silver on the helmets, kind of like how notre dame does their gold helmets
chrome wouldnt be bad as an alternate helmet. but not as a primary in my opinion. overall i liked this years rivalry but minor tweaks here and there could make them much better
the regular buckeye helmet stickers instead of green, full stripes up the side of the pants, gray or red facemask instead of black and maybe a black border around the numbers
I agree, but I didn't like the big stripes on the UM game helmets.
I would like to see our current unis with chrome everywhere (pants, everything) where we currently have grey. I haven't seen pants like that and i wouldn't want to see the old style shiney silver pants.
I think it would add bling for the kids and keep tradition for the 30+ crowd.
I liked the wide helmet stripes a lot. That's the one thing that I thought you guys should incorporate.
I have an issue with stripes on jersey sleeves, since there are no more sleeves on football jerseys. The historical devotion to stripes on sleeves has to give way to reality.
Since players now wear coordinated under-pad shirts, those would seem to be the natural place for stripes and we began to see some manufacturers do that for the first time in 2012.
The essential elements for you guys as I see it are the big numbers on the shoulder pads, and gray facemasks. Otherwise, you shouldn't try to do too much. Great uniforms are as much a function of the team's success, as great design. You guys have a lot of success to ride. Don't do too much.
Bigger stripes on your helmets; big numbers on the jerseys (a la the seventies and eighties) and big stripes on the pants. Give up the puny fake-stripes on wha't left of sleeves.
good take...i like the gray jerseys a lot. More gray in general to seperate our look from all that other red in the BIG. You guys only share that school bus yellow with Iowa :)
I think those numbers on the helmets mess up the classic look and overall the only thing that I've always thought Mich should tinker with for a game is reversing the helmet colors (yellow helmet with blue wing).
D. Anthony
Tradition is tradition, that's why I say don't change our helmets. Maybe make the silver more chrome like Oregon or more sparkly like Notre Dame, but leave them be. The only thing I would see change is the sleeves, I like the way they were in the early 2000's. And bigger numbers cant hurt, it gives off a stronger look
It's 5 o'clock somewhere, & Michigan still sucks
I'm sorry but I hated those big numbers on the shoulders. I like the PSU numbers on the shoulders.
I don't like big numbers on the shoulders, that's too overwhelming. But on the front & back it was a strong look for a football team. That's how I meant to put if. For the sleeves I was only refering to the stripe design we used to have, the big gray ones.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere, & Michigan still sucks
But you guys OWN those big numbers on top of the shoulder pads. That's classic OSU. And that's a sweet photo of #27 -- is it Eddie George? Almost looks too lean to be Eddie.
Anyway, get rid of the dumb not-really-there stripes on the sleeves, and the big numbers on the pads look even better.
But if you like the smaller numbers on the outer sleeves, you are welcome to it and your unis might begin to look like this all-time great uniform of virtual perfection:
Tim Biakabatuka, taking Ron Springs for a ride through the University of Michigan's South Campus.
M Man, you know we all love you here, but I think that you've stumbled across some horrible, respressed memories of a man named Tshimanga...
Hodge, my good friend; you replied before I could edit to correct my photo caption to SHAWN Springs. An almost unforgiveable error on my part.
Actually, thinking about RON Springs upsets my tummy too.
Helmet idea... put the player's number on the ride side of the helmet (2009 Michigan Game) and leave the left side blank to allow for buckeye leaves.
If you can figure out how to actually manufacture and sell both the Home (2012) and this Away edition in real life, you can have all of my 11W helmet stickers.
Keep Calm and Ignore the Trolls.
I love what Oregon does, but they don't have the tradition that tOSU, Bama, or Penn State has, so it works for them. With that said, I love what you did with the away uniform. It looks great! I don't mind minor tweeks, which is why I think this years rivalry uniforms were the best yet. I think the away ones you just made are even better though!
The wide helmet stripe is cool. It looks old school to me.(I don't like the black names on the back, the black face mask, or the way the buckeye leafs looked though.)
I like what Oregon does but I prefer the tradition we, along with other schools have. I don't mind an alternate/rivalry here and there. I actually enjoy it. But Oregon does too much with it.
I prefer the tradition too, but fifty different uniforms is Oregon's tradition now.
This is a fantastic concept. I love that it updates what is a very classic and traditional OSU look and makes it relevant and exciting for a new generation. I would be very much in favor of a full switch-over to something like this concept for both home and away jerseys.
I've liked all of them except the for the ones against Wisconsin in 2011. But the ending for that made everything better.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
That is sick!!!! Love the that there is still alot of red in it.
Red?
Really??
Hand in your BuckID. HAHA.
-The Aristocrats!
I can't tell on my computer ... is the helmet grey/silver or white?
those are ridiculously badass well done GT
Alright, so this might sound kind of crazy but I have an idea to get these manufactured. Me and a few friends have bought jerseys from a chinese website a few times for pretty cheap and about 99% authentic with stitched numbers and names. Anyway, this website puts out crazy alternate jerseys all the time (I'll post the link and you can see for yourself), including an all black Ohio State alternate featuring Braxton. Now, since we have ordered from the same guy a few times I'm wondering if he would be able to do a custom design for us. I believe that they use old factories that were once used by nike or something, and I know that they do custom names/numbers. Keep in mind that the Chinese are very good at copying things. Now, if I sent this guy a bunch of pictures of the jersey and guaranteed him hundreds of sales I think there's a reasonable chance that he would, or knows someone who could make the rivalry uniforms, just a thought but I think it could work, in fact, I'm going to email him and see what he says, and let all of you know.
Just saying...think that is illegal...And takes money from the university...And our good friends at Nike.
Buckeye in Augusta, GA...
Hence the very original name
Yes because Ohio State University has never taken a penny from us....
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Can I get the name of that website? I've been looking for some quality units for cheap!
As I've said many times, OSU needs more gray in its uniforms. I think a gray away jersey would look great in place of the current white ones.
Thhe only thing I don't want messed with is the helmet and stickers.
Basketball has already had some awesome gray looks that thhey should wear more often.
exactly! i mean, we are suppose to be scarlet and gray right?
Dopeness! I love tOSU's tradition like all Buckeye fans, but to me, these uniforms just look cooler!
GAMETIME- If you ever get bored or have free time could you make an all black or grey OSU uniform. I will gladly compensate your new post with an upvote as I have already upvoted your thread
I just want some black trim around the numbers, and gray in our home unis.
For the love of Lake Erie, just don't put those hideous Buckeye leaves they wore for the last game of the year. So brutal. I really don't like all these uniform changes or special game uniforms. Let the on the field work show for itself. We are breading a generation of kids who are more worried about the flash than sporting the colors of the team they want to be a part of. Stop the madness!
@CBUSBUCKEYE
This link is for an Aaron Craft jersey, with his name plate, and the one I have purchased, there are dozens of these sites, and most are $20-$25 dollars. Same sites that have the George and Miller Gray jerseys and the Miller black jersey.
http://www.dhjerseys.com/Ohio-State-Buckeyes--4-Aaron-Craft-White-Jersey-28590.html
Pay It Forward!
That site also has a Miller jersey with name, in Black, Gray, White and Red.
Pay It Forward!
Personally, I like the looks of our away hockey jerseys better than the football ones. Perhaps we can incorporate the large block 'O' on the chest of all these new jersey ideas:
“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
pretty sure everybody was hating this on the basketball jersey thread
Love the uniform in the OP by Gametime. I'm 46 years old and a fan of tradition. However, the fact remains that the uniform has changed numerous times over the years.
I like the wider red stripe on the helmet.
Not a big fan of chrome. Would rather see a matte finish on the helmets.
Also as a different idea, how about enlarged buckeye leaves on the side of the shoulder (upper arm) to signify the number of years the players has been with the program. Freshmen would have one, Sophomore would have two, etc.
Thanks for making that idea come to life again awesome work
edit: the buckeye stripe on the long sleeves is a sweet idea too
Again, thanks for all the support & ideas 11W brethren! Next I'm thinking about doing some helmet composites - nothing crazy, but just some of the requested variations on the finish (silver, chrome, metallic, etc) & I don't know about you guys, but if nothing else happens, I'm definitely sold on the scarlet facemask. =D
"Leave...Your...Mark..."
I wouldn't think the scarlet facemask would make such a huge impact on the uni, but it's a really nice look! These are all great.
I love the black with the white numbers. Those are legit.
Wow, Gametime - just wow. Love it, and great work just from the design standpoint alone.
Nike, call this man up!
Awesome! Love the all gray unis & all black ones, too
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
I hate the white jerseys! We need grey away jerseys now!
"Because I couldn't go for 3"
Agreed. Should be adopted immediately.
I wonder if the NCAA has any rule stating the "away" team must be dressed in white uniforms?
They do allow us to substitute our home whites for the greys in bball. WVU and OKSt both wore alternate grey uniforms last year...but I think they were only worn at home while the visiting team wore their whites.
Wow. I don't understand this at all. Your team looks great in the away Whites. Maybe it is because I always associate you guys with the "away" team, but I think you guys look fantastic in the white jerseys; just like Michigan looks better in home Blues.
In fact, I almost think of the Buckeyes like the Dallas Cowboys or the LSU Tigers, who always go with Whites when they can.
The Buckeyes are the best-looking "away" team in the conference.
Those grey ones..just made it move..wow..they are badass
I dont always root for college athletics, but when i do (which is most of the time) I choose THE Ohio State Buckeyes.
Awesome stuff man!
You should send these pics to Pantoni or maybe some of the players; get someone within the program to sell these ideas to Urban.
These are exceptional, bravo to you!
If I may make a suggestion, it might be cool to try a darker grey, somewhere between your shown grey and the black versions that you've created. Though, the more that I look at your version, the more I like it; perhaps a slight touch darker, like a shade past these basketball jerseys?
Seriously, this is awesome work.
my faves ^ ... love the gray with the "football" stripes down the site
That's hot, yo.
I actually based the Gray uni off of this exact picture! =D Tried to shy away from the darker "gun-metal" esq gray that we've seen teams like Rutgers, WVU, TCU, & Utah use from time to time though in favor for our Gray!
"Leave...Your...Mark..."
I'm all for an alternate jerseys for the big night games. I'm sure the players would like it too. But I'm not sure if I would like them completely changed to something different for the year. I like tradition but its nice to mix it up with something new
Wherever you are, there you be!
Here's the rundown:
That's awesome bro, I'm glad you see it that way, as my thought process designing them was in the same scenarios you mentioned! :D
"Leave...Your...Mark..."
Agreed Andy...
The silver bullet pants with the black jersey are phenomenal and would look sweet at a big night game under the lights!
Gametime, great work, please get in contact with Phil Knight and the folks at Nike.
I dont know, maybe its just me, but the Black and red, remind sme to much of Nebraska and the black and white Cincy. Just not feeling the black unis. The Gray is pretty amazing though, love the gray concept jersey.
Pay It Forward!
Definitely get that, and that's probably subconsciously why I don't like the black/red combo.
Yea, I think it sat in my mind too, because I HATED those fugly alternates that adidas did for Nebraska & Wisky. They need re-ups too considering the only thing really separating them is stylized "N"s & "W"s... And that's ultimately why I did two versions of the black jersey!
"Leave...Your...Mark..."
The version with white numbers, though, is seriously legit.
I love the home and away jerseys! The gray uni's are awesome too. I wouldn't have the sleeves be gray though. All scarlet and all white would have been fine. In my opinion, it looks too cluttered having the big stripe and the sleeve being a different color. I would have no problems if these would be our actual updated uniforms.
With that said........HELL NO ON ALL THE BLACK! ( You did a great job on them, I just hate it!)
I love them all. You have great talent and should submit them, who knows...
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEE!
#Buckeyes
I like the look, but I would hope the light colored numbers are actually white this time, unlike the Rivalry unis this year. I think white numbers with a silver stitching would look amazing. The all silver numbers from last year...not so much and hard to see from the stands.
You can kill a fly with your slipper or a cannon. Either way, the fly dies. -Ramzy
Spot on Alhan, NONE of these are silver numbered, as that annoyed me as well, along with the black names - ugh.
"Leave...Your...Mark..."
Dude....love that last one with the black with white numbers. BRA-FACKIN-VO
ps. little darker gray would be perfect.
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
If nothing else, I want these helmets to stick. Love the thicker stripe.
Not sure if anyone has seen these yet but ohio state has released new away basketball jerseys. Unc and Michigan state are also going with this same look. To me they look like practice jerseys..not a fan. I don't have a link but I'm sure a google search will come up with something. They're red with he block O above the numbers and then the name on the back. That's it.
http://www.elevenwarriors.com/buckshot/2013/01/alternate-uniforms-are-coming-to-basketball
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
Thanks!
Love the all blacks
Black jersey with red pants!!!
I love the alternate uni's, just think they would be best served for that night game at the shoe every year. Like when we did it for Wisconsin two years ago...that seems more appropriate. Last year, Nebraska wouldve been great to do a combat uni.
But, if doing it for AACC gives the kids any extra excitement/motivation/energy then we can wear whatever they want!!
feel free to downvote me all you want, which im sure everyone aged 29- will do, but the annual new uniform topic is one of the most ridiculous and repeated waste of time discussions that occur every year.
As I said earlier, we aint Oregon. If we even contemplated altering our uniforms 1/10th as often as people clamor for it, we would be loosing a huge piece of our tradition.
The horseshoe
buckeye grove
skull session and killer tailgating
tbdbitl
silver helmets/buckeye stickers, no logo, grey bottoms, scarlet tops.
TRADITION...When you're great, you have it. When you don't, you need need gimics like alternate uniforms and blue field turf.
END OF STORY PEOPLE. If you don't get it, I feel sorry for ya.
I'm 31, so I guess I fall in your "older" crowd, but I'm not quite sold on the inflexibility of tradition. Tradition is DEFINITELY the backbone of everything we do at Ohio State, but there is something to be said for occasionally adding to that tradition - in this instance the now-annual "rivalry/combat" unis we see come out once a year.
Give the design whiz a little credit - his scarlet & grey home uni above is a damn sight better than the special unis Nike tossed out for The Game this year!
I mean, we change our uniforms once every 6-10 years, we're not Michigan (whose uniforms have remained constant since the dawn of time). It's not like our current duds are real send ups to the past, either. In fact, I think these new ones are a lot closer to the way a "traditional" Buckeye uniform should look.
I don't get the hatred with "alternate unis"; especially if it's a grey uniform with the same design. Baseball teams have been doing it for years. Now, if we went to a black uniform, I could understand the "abandoning tradition" arguement, but I guess I don't see how changing the uniform and maintaining its traditional look is emulating Oregon. Oregon has so many uniform combinations that they have no unifying theme; that's certainly not the case here.
For example, here's a relative timeline of our uniforms; an evolving theme, yes--but certainly not a constantly maintained look:
For what it's worth, I think that the Scarlet, White, and Grey jerseys shown above would fit seamlessly into the traditional "look" of our uniform. A modern update on an established theme, and a dramatic improvement in my book.
Amen, Brother. Tradition is not a rigid adherence to the ways of olde, but rather progression along a timeline guided by certain foundational principles. Time and change, as it were.
"A modern update on an established theme, and a dramatic improvement in my book."
Exactly.
Well done.
Well said Hodge, it's ironic we both had the same graphic in mind to honor the tradition! Kudos brethren!
"Leave...Your...Mark..."
I don't think you should be down voted at all. I'm 27 & I get it. I grew up watching the great Buckeye teams of the 90s with very much reverance & respect. I learned about Woody & Bo, taking in the total significance of their rivalry & friendship. I learned to respectfully despise TTUN just as many of my brothers & sisters have who've had the privelage to be born Scarlet & Gray. I'm married to a -soon-to-be Buckeye graduate. Trust me I get it.
BUT...I'm also an artist, it's my talent, my blessing, my birthright, & my trade. It's what I do & who I am. So I present to you this:
In two years, THE Ohio State University would've progressed through 14 different unifroms (including the current design). Do the uniforms worn by James Laurenitus, Andy Katzenmoyer, or Orlando Pace some how dimish the tradition established by Jack Tatum, Chic Harley, or Jim Houston? I wouldn't say so.
As a matter of fact, I recall all the disappointment with our current uniforms because of the lack of Gray in the jerseys. I was among that crowd. I was a kid growing up playing with Eddie George, Terry Glenn, & company playing NCAA Gamebreaker.
I was just graduating high school when I saw the legendary "Holy Buckeye" play & our team, full of heart & toughness take down the vaunted Miami Hurricanes in the NCG.
I witnessed it all - but I'm also a witness to the new blood, & as an athlete & progressive thinker, I understand that changes come with time & we have to reinvent ourselves to reach new heights.
Urban Meyer's arrival here marks the begining of the next era of Buckeye football. Does that mean that we abandon our tradition? HELL NO - but we DO use it as a foundation to build upon and use each step that those of yesteryear laid down for us to move forward - not to leave them behind - but to carry their legacy - their sacrfice, their blood, their sweat, their tears - with us, as a reminder without you, there is no us.
So are my designs abandoning tradition? I'd argue the opposite, save for maybe the black uniforms, but all in all, I'd like to believe, if nothing else, I'm honoring the tradition I grew up living & dying with, at every kickoff, tip off, whistle, injury, script Ohio - i dotting, Carmen & Sloopy singing, buzzer beating, touchdown scoring moment - I DO BLEED SCARLET & GRAY - I AM BUCKEYE MADE.
...and with all do respect, if you don't get that, I feel sorry for you. O-H..!
"Leave...Your...Mark..."
Rock on, mi amigo, and well said. Your comments about a "new era" really struck a chord - is Urban going to have us known for "three yards and a cloud of dust?" Not hardly. BUT, we are definitely not abandoning our tradition of being a running ball club who pounds you into submission. Great work, as I said above, and keep it up.
...I-O!
Much appreciated Andy! Thanks for all the support, enthusiasm, & insights! That said I do personally love the Gray uni the most out the bunch - I'd love if we could push to get that added!
And also, anything graphic wise you guys might wanna see, let me know. I'm whipping up something rather funny with UFM & the "Juice" concept from a scrapped project I had a while ago, I think the 11W faithful will dig it. :D
"Leave...Your...Mark..."
If its a waste of time don't post in here and move on, there are plenty of us who enjoy looking at different options. I absolutely love the tradition at OSU but you should realize that its a huge recruiting tool to change up jerseys once a year which will probably continue with the Urbz
Don't like the black on black, but all the other closeups are pretty cool.
Just say no to black uni's! I do like the gray jerseys, but would like to see them with scarlet numbers (just not enough scarlet in the gray jerseys otherwise). I can take or leave the wide helmet stripe, but please no green buckeye leaves!
I think what you did here is pretty cool, but I still personnally prefer the traditional looking uniforms over uniforms with a lot of design. I feel like the more you do with jersey like putting trim on the numbers, the more you look like a highschool team.
And before I get accused of being an old traditionalist, I'm only 17.
the shoulder pad numbers only made since back in the days of the giant shoulder pads.
D. Anthony
Nice work on all of them. The only one i would like to see on game day is the grey though. Love it, cant stop looking at it. The other ones ar'nt far off either. The all black is eye catching w the scarlet numbers.
Love the black uni's and would love to see black jersey and red pants!!!
"We have always had the best damn band in the land, now we have the best damn team in the land"- Jim Tressel 1-03-03
Hey Gametime, Can we see the grey uniform with scarlet numbers and no trim?
Those gray unforms are NASTY!
Those gray uniforms...
WANT.
