When I joined, I was informed that there was a 2-drink minimum. Every time I check out 11 dubs I make sure I have had at least two drinks. Am I misinterpreting?

not sure
You have to buy ME 2 drinlks.
Now if we were in Italy, I'd have to buy you 2 drinks ....
I will be in Italy next January, and I would be happy to buy you a couple!
I assume it was tongue in cheek. However alcohol does make threads a little more interesting.

Everything I post should be taken with a grain of salt.
Margarita, anyone?
more than a grain please. Crust it up on the rim.

Sure I'll gladly take one? BTW do you reside in Minneapolis? I've been trying to relocate there for a long time and was wondering is there a huge following of Buckeyes in the middle of Gopher country.

Yes, northern suburbs of St. Paul, and one of my co-workers also is a huge tOSU football fan along with another who recently retired. I think there are more closet fans around that may not have discovered this great web site.
Interesting place. The twin cities feels a lot like Cbus (lived there for 2 years) but I would guess there are more buckeye fans here than Gophers fans.
Perhaps a bball or fall football party?
St.Paul is awesome, kinda reminds me of Victorian Village since the houses there are well kept and seem archaic. I'm surprise that you think there are more Buckeyes there than Gophers seeing how the University of Minnesota is there and not to far from the down if you're riding the Lightrail. I'm not sure how many OSU fans would be closet Buckeyes but there is a chapter there you might not know about and a bar where they meet. I went to an OSU bar in Tennessee when traveling for the Toldeo game and the OSU fans there are welcoming so I'm sure you'll have a positive experience like I did if you're looking for a place to watch the games. I've posted the information I found from the OSU Alumni website.

Thanks for the info. I have always been a buckeye fan but became a fanatic when Urban was brought in. Might have to join the group at Majors this fall. From Warren - disappointed about Deveon Smith, but Harding produced many studs including Clarett.
Np; enjoy it! Michigan getting OSU scraps and now Green, there is really nothing to worry about. We're in good hands with Urban and I'm sure our defense will be back to the standard we've seen over the years. This fall, I am fully invested in beating Michigan more than I have been in the past. Just thought I say that. Football needs to hurry up and get here!

Didn't Boom Herron hail from Warren.
To us, Warren is the big city ... my Mother is from Niles
Just FYI this bar is not Majors any more. It was a different bar for awhile, so the location may still be good, but probably want to double check. It might be closed. It's a relatively small crowd, I watched a few games there a couple of years ago.
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."
Thanks! But it looks like the Minnesota Buckeyes web site has not been updated since 2009. Anyone know what is going on? I could stop being lazy and call the number, I guess . . .
Make mine a double double and we'll kill four birds with one stone.

Yes. Your two drinks must each be different types of bourbon.

I am wide open to your suggestions. Right now I favor Glenfiddich, but I as a scientist I like to experiment.
Blanton's and either Basil Hayden's or Woodford Reserve.
Bottoms up.
Keep Calm and Ignore the Trolls.
Blanton's is nice. Hearing good things about OYO as well but have not tried it yet.
I bought a bottle of Four Roses Single barrel the other day. It was 34 bucks, but honestly is better than a lot of 50+ dollar bottles I've tried. The Four Roses Small Batch is good stuff too. Another really good one at the 30-35 dollar price point is Elmer T Lee single barrel. I'm not sure how available those are around the country but I'm able to get them here in NKY at a 2 or 3 larger liquor stores.
I'm surprised this post hasn't garnered more responses. Anyone who comes to 11W enough knows how a vast majority of the commentors love bourbon (and scotch as I recently found out).
Yea, but if you go beyond 2 drinks, the "Grammar Police" go crazy......
On my 4th beer so I have today and tomorrow covered
excellent!
Considering I access this site from work sometimes...haha
Class of 2010.
Only if those 2 drinks are Zimas (with jolly ranchers).
Is there an 11W drinking game? You know, something along the lines of "drink everytime you see a reference to Brady Hoke and a buffet".
If not, should there be?
Fond memories, or lack thereof, of the Hi Bob drinking game. Watching Bob Newhart reruns I rarely remember the endings.
RAMZY Masterpiece of a drinking game!

People are saying that I'm an alcoholic, and that's not true, because I only drink when I work, and I'm a workaholic.

I got my first taste of Fireball whiskey last night. That stuff was pretty darn good!
