Hey guys, one of my friends who is a Michigan fan wants to know why I (and many Buckeyes) dislike Bret Bielema. What should I tell him? I want to make sure I don't miss anything. Thanks guys.

1.liittle brother complex, he thought wisconsin is on the same level as tosu and they are far from it
2.beating our number 1 ranked terrele pryor led bucks
3.hating on urb
those are the 3 biggest reasons i hate him.

I disagree with the little brother complex in the case of Wisconsin. If anything, it's because he runs up the score on opponents to make his team look better than it is (See: Indiana a few years ago, or the end of the first half against Nebraska in the B1G title game)
Also, if there is ANY school with a little brother/Napoleon complex towards us, it's UC.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Well, him whining about Urban stealing his recruits is the first and most obvious one that I can think of. Then there is his stupid face that constantly looks like he is smelling a fart. Then, there is the fact that he said he wanted to be nothing like the SEC and then turns around and gets hired at an SEC school. I'm sure theres more but thats all I can think of.
Running up the score in meaningless games (83-20 against Indiana, 70-23 against NW, going for 2 against Minnesota when they were up by 30)
Whining about recruiting
The disgusting squinty face he makes 99% of the time
^^^ this - you don't leave your first team in when you're beating a conference opponent like a drum - unless it's ttun
Yeah, who would ever go for 2 when you are up by 34 in the 4th quarter?
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

This is a do as I say, not as I do thread...
There's a difference between a flub in a rivalry game and just doing it to be a complete Dick to a hapless opponent.
-The Aristocrats!
Plain and simple, being a hypocrit. He complains about gentelmans agreements and not being like the SEC, yet he:
1) Pursues committed Big Ten recruits
2) Runs up the score on opponents
3) Talks trash about the SEC and how he never wants to be like them, then takes a job there for the money.
4) Saying it is a good time to be a Badger and then two days later leaving for another school and not coaching the bowl game.
He's hypocritical, but a decent coach. I respect his coaching ability, but as a person he is publically a hypocrit. I don't of the things he did were actually an issue, it is that he publically calls others out then does the same thing.
@)!) 2010 that's 'nuff fer me.GO BUCKS!
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.
The same reasons I don't like most other obnoxious fat turds walking down the street.
* Arrogant (misplaced) Douchebag -- I do not need to elaborate for most Buckeye fans.
* Hypocrite -- bitching about Urb going after his commits and then doing the same thing this past year offering schollies to committed kids, etc.
* As others mentioned -- acting like Wisconsin is somehow on our level. Ol' Burt was 1-5 vs. Ohio State in his career and his best team (2011) lost to the worst team we've had since 1897 that same year.
* Runs the score up on high school teams, and rarely can back it up against quality opponents. I think this recent Big Ten Championship game is the first time that I can recall where a Bielema-coached Wisky team was able to really beat down a quality opponent.
There's the quick version of my list. :) I'm really glad he's going to Arkansas. Hope I get to see him get stomped by the Southeastern Oversigners.
Whiner. Disgusting sloppy mess of a person. Beat us a couple of times. No big deal.
He Bitches about the SEC and then joins it less than a year later. That is the definition of a hypocrite.
If you take every Michigan fan in the world and triple the total douchiness, it's still half of Bielema's douchiness.

3. Repeat list
“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
I'm gonna miss getting to play against Bret's team... He's now coach "Corky Arkantard" to me and I hope we see him in a bowl sometime, but I doubt we will as of the 2 teams only his will be in the Beef O'Brady/ Poulan Weedeater Bowl.

All the obvious above reasons. For me, it was also the loss to TCU. Letting a non PAC or B1G team win the Rose Bowl is a disgrace.
Letting a Pac-12 team win the Rose Bowl is a disgrace too and Bielema has you covered there as well.

-Former OSU S&C Coach Lichter
That was probably the best team in college football that year.
He's a whiny little idget that always looks like he has no clue as to whats happening
Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.
His face
Because we can!
I personally don't have anything against him. Then again I rarely hate coaches.
He was the enemy. He made it very clear in press conferences that he doesn't like Ohio State and can't stand losing to the Buckeyes. His lame ass teams won a lot of games they shouldn't have, and they certainly lost a lot of games they shouldn't have. He runs up the score on teams, as others have mentioned. He scheduled a lot of patsies in the nonconference schedule, then proceded to struggle in those games year-in-year-out. His stupid teams literally did nothing but hurt the conference's reputation. The "we don't want to be like the SEC" was bullshit even before the about-face he pulled this week.
And if you knock OSU out of a national championship run, we're going to f'ing hate you.
He did? Anything specific?
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I personally don't have any links, but he did state that more than once in interviews
His arrogance is off the charts. I also remember him talking about how a new era in the Big Ten had begun in reference to them going to the Rose Bowl two years in a row.
We shouldn't judge by looks, but look at this guy! He's a Head Coach of a B1G university for crying out loud!
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
is that a picture of him racing Hokey for firsts in the buffet line?

HIS FACE
Something about his face I just want to punch it....
He seems like he would talk with his mouth full.

I would be careful about criticizing 'ol Bert about running up the score on other conference opponents. Urban is going to be doing that in the very near future. The only difference will be Urban running it up on EVERYBODY in the league, not just the bottom feeders like Bert.
Bert's douchey face and unwarranted arrogance was the trigger for me, plus the fact the UW fans are miscreants.
This was tweeted by 11warriors. Killing me....

What was the question again? I was stuck on the fact you had a michigan friend........
He did make a point of saying once, right after OSU's santions and vacating the 2010 season, "We've got the most wins of any B1G teams since _____" - which was NOT at all true if it weren't for the sanctions taking away 10 or 11 wins of ours.
Edit: the blank in his quote means I forget exactly what he said - he might have given a specific year, or he might have said in the past few years...I forget.
