Since I was obviously unsuccessful in making a case against Manziel and Te'o, who deserves to take home the heavy hardware?
I still content Klein did what he needed to do to win, as he put forth stellar performances in the statistically toughest league this season, while Manziel lost against his biggest opponents.
Can Te'o pull of the upset? Does the media have that big a man-crush on ND and its star linebacker?

My order of preference is 1. Klein, 2. Teo, and 3. Johnny SEC Media-Darling. I actually believe Klein deserves it more (he had 1 bad game, vs. John-boy's 2), because if I remember correctly John-boy didn't even get his team to a BCS bowl? And he doesn't pass the 'likeability' test. (Last I checked when he got arrested for a bar fight, he gave the police a fake ID when asked... you use that to get into a bar, not when the POLICE ask for it!)
te'o
Miller, Klein, Teo, then Manziel. I wish! Really though, i think it would have to be Klein. Teo is a good player and all but his numbers just aren't great. Plus I'm already sick of all the ND crap, and i couldn't take it if they won the championship and the heisman! The thought of it made me throw up in my mouth.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning! GO BUCKS!!
Te'o...however he nor Klein will win it.

"I love football. I think it is most wonderful game in world and I despise to lose."

Marquise Lee is the best player in the country, and I'm not sure it is even close, o he SHOULD win.
I could not care less who wins out of the other 3, but I guess Klein deserves it out of the 3, if I had to pick one.
I disregard Manziel's absurd numbers because of Sumlin's system. Every QB who plays for him should win the heisman if you base it only on stats. Also, isn't character supposed to factor in. If so, he should not win. If he wins, it will be because of 1 great half of football against Alabama. LSU and Florida shut the kid down.
T'eo winning would show just how big of a joke the heisman is. He would win for 2 reasons, none of which are good reasons. One reason would be that he MIGHT be the best player on the top ranked team. The other reason is that him winning would provide the media with good stories...overcoming death of gf, coming back for senior year, Notre dame player finally winning again, etc.
Klein had 1 very bad game, but like Manziel, he had a signature road win (Oklahoma) and was slightly more consistent than Manziel.
I stopped reading at "Marqise Lee is the best player in the country" because nothing else needs to be said. But alas, the Heisman is a joke of an award.
You sir should have a heisman vote.
YBrian Fischer pretty much nails my thinking on why Te'o shouldn't win

Fundamentals are a crutch for the talentless.
Kirk Ferentz. Wait, you mean he's not eligible for this award? What about Bill O'Brien? No?
In all seriousness, I think Klein should win it. He's been the most consistent player in the country, and his team benefited from it greatly. I think Johnny Frosh will win it, just due to the media hype and fact he had a good game against 'Bama. People get stars in their eyes and idolize the kid because his TEAM beat 'Bama. He's impressive, true, but he hasn't been as consistently excellent as Klein.
I root for tOSU's closest competition to go dooown.
That means I would prefer Klein to win it.
If I can't have that, then I am OK with the ND LB winning it. That means they have 8 all-time Heisman winners though.
Least popular choice for me would be Manziel because he is a freshman and would be a possible two-time winner like our own Archie!
You don't have to like Te'o to win, but IMO, anyone saying Te'o doesn't deserve based on stats reads into stats too much. They can be deceiving on both ends of the spectrum.
Manziel. Great numbers, great year, great win at 'Bama. But again, IMO, he was a large reason why they lost to Florida and LSU in the second half of each game. The numbers also tell me it's a one man show out there in College Station.
Klein had a great year except for one egg in which he was coming back from a concussion. I think he should get it.
Not Manti Teo, we must remain the school with the most heisman trophies. I personally will be rooting for Klein.
But Woodson would not be the only defensive player to win the Heisman. I like that.
I wouldn't put something negative about Michigan versus something positive for us. If they win their 8th heisman then that impacts recruiting as well and just general prestige for us because then we wouldn't be tied for the most.
Big deal. Most of their heismans were awarded to players on shitty teams. See: Paul Hornung. That award was fixed back in the day.
"I like to kick Michigan's ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum."
No question, still though it's gotta score some points will recruits to mention that on visits.
Manziel, so hopefully it'll be less likely he'll get it next year and B Miller does.
Klein. If K-State's defense showed up against Baylor, and Klein threw a couple fewer picks, K-State would be in the BCS title game.
Te'o is feel good story and Manziel is SEC hype. I like the feel good stories, but being perhaps the best player on the #1 ranked team (which can be argued if he is the best on that team) doesn't make you deserving of a Heisman.
Class of 2010.
Klein.
Te'o winning means that ND takes the lead for the most Heismans at a school. Manziel winning opens up the door of challenging Archie.
Ill he happy for whoever wins it. Not really rooting for a specific person.
