Vonn Bell's big meeting today???

Can anybody elaborate on this? Is the meeting with Urban Meyer? Did Urban have a conversation with him after the state championship game this weekend? This would be a HUGE get for the Ohio State University. Will we be getting a [grey box] anytime soon? Any information would be great.

Miles is on it...Vonn is meeting with his parents and coach to discuss the recruiting plans...seems debating whether to take a visit to OSU on 1/11...if he doesn't I think he is all Alabama. If he does I think OSU has a great shot. Stay tuned.

That's interesting. In that case, things aren't as pro-OSU as it seemed yesterday. Looking at your choice of words, it appears that we still trail Bama

This Vonn case is confusing I thought the fact Urban and Withers were the only coaches at his game was a big indicator for OSU on top. Bama didn't even send a coach did they?

The announcers/play-by-play guys on the GPB channel feed that Derek linked during the game said that Alabama, Georgia and others all had coaches at the game. Haven't heard any sources definitively back them up though, so I just took their word for it.

I guess the biggest question for me (which we don't, and may not for a while, have an answer to) is if Bell visits OSU, is it because OSU is his leader, or because he's still willing to give OSU a chance despite Bama being his leader? A week ago it sounded like he was only going to take 1 visit to the team he was committing to, now I no longer know whether that's even the case. Confusing situation for sure. Guess it doesn't matter as long as Urb can get him on campus for a visit.

just going to wait and see what happens with this 'confirmation of a visit' before speculating anything significant... IMO its 50/50.

Sounds like Alabama has it locked up if he decides not to visit. Even if he does visit, sounds like we have A LOT of ground to make up. He will be a stud for Bama.
