An insider on the Tennessee Scout board thinks Vonn announced for OSU on Dec 12. I really hope he is right!

I hope he is right but I will wait to Wednesday before I get excited.

Until I read it from Alex, Miles, or Derek, or see the Gray Box, I won't put too much into a statement from any Volunteer insider (isn't this the same fanbase that thought Gruden was a lock for coach?)

Vonn's HS coach told Miles that Vonn would decide after his season, and since his team won last night he will play next weekend for the state championship. I don't see him picking Wednesday.

These posters sounda bout as informed as us. I think they are just speculating that he will commit, but who knows maybe he has some information

I love the one poster who said hes never worn tOSU gear when hes tweeted photos of himself decked out in Buckeye gear. The only ones at this point who now are Vonn and his family. Note of interest however is that all our commits for the UA game are on the same team as Redfield so if Vonn goes Bama then hopefully they can work on Max.

I want this kid more than anyone. True game changer on our defense. Calling it now, if he comes to OSU, I say he's all Big Ten by his sophomore year.

They might be figuring if UT is out of the running, it would be better for them if Bell went to OSU rather than Bama.

Id love to have Bell.

But I think we need to offer Max Redfield. He's just as highly recruited & seems to be just as good. I think offering Redfield is only a win win situation. Either Bell commits to us because he knows he wants to be aBuckeye & dosnt want his spot taken, or Bell chooses someone else & we land Redfield. According to Redfield, OSU is his #1, but dosnt have an offer.

Even if the staff offered Redfield and he committed, they'd still save a scholly for Bell. He wouldn't lose his spot.

well yah. but Bell wouldnt necessarily know tht. it could pressure him to pull the trigger or take the chance of not being in the class. also landing Redfield isnt really a backup plan. its just as good i think even though Bell might be a tad bit better

I agree V.Bell is more FS, and Redfield looks more of a SS. That would be down right sickening to the college football world if we landed both, but I like J.Thompson a bunch so landing one of either I wouldn't be disappointed, but its just something about V.Bell that speaks "greatness" is on him. Not to mention I truly believe J.Thompson in a couple of years and about 15lbs is going to be good/great for us. The dude can really fly!
