Hard to believe but this lengthy highlight film represents less than half of his TDs
His highlights are hilarious! Looks like he is playing against the 3 Stooges. Those poor little kids keep tripping and running into each other.
Who is he leaning towards? I would imagine Arkansas is out. He would fit well at West Virginia in the Tavon Austin role.
4.32 and 10.6 can make you look silly.
His options are really just starting to blossom. I have heard USC is calling him again. With the coaching staff Kentucky has put together I think they may lead now(Texas Tech OC). The new staff is going hard at it. Even has a good chance now with ND commit Bivins.
Over 20 schools have been in touch with him the past 2 weeks.
I'd really like Timmons on the team, but I'm also convinced it won't happen.
Myles Autry: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/493252/highlights/13689374
Has the same skill set as Timmons, though, with a bit more top-end speed (imo) and more national attention. If we miss on both Timmons and Autry (Autry is 2014) I'll be pretty disappointed. Either would fit the infamous "Percy Harvin role" perfectly.
Some similarities but one big differenc. Autry does not have much forward and upright movement with his knees. His legs lag behind. I would not guess that he has 10.6 speed. I would guess he is closer to 11. He does look strong and has good instincts. He will be a good one.
Autry not same type of player in my opinion. Autry is slower, not as agile, but more powerful runner. A better comparison for RT is Shelton Gibson. Basically same player, but RT more experience as RB, while Gibson has more experience as WR. RT would fit better than Gibson in offense like Oregon. I feel like Gibson is better suited for OSU offense.
Personally, I would rather have Gibson than any other WR we are after right now. Amazing speed, runs good routes, and very good hands. He can play slot or out wide and he can return kicks.
Im rooting for Gibson also
I see Booom Herron (mixed with Jalin Marshall) with Myles Autry's body type and playing style. I wouldn't mind both of them being Buckeyes, but I have a feeling it's going to be Myles Autry next year committing to OSU (Childhood favorite).
Lastly, we should have Alex or one of the mods make a sticky post for hyperlink or viewable videos of commits and targeted recruits for posters to find easier.
I see the second coming of Barry Sanders. Not sure i've seen any others as swift afoot, smooth cuts and a burst that leaves defenders in his wake. There's a lot of good players on our recruiting board, i just haven't seen a totally fluid player like RT the Show. He reminds me of Braxton a lot, with maybe a *little* more speed.
...maybe not Barry...yet! haha.

He does have the body type to add that weight in the thighs,. I could see him getting much more powerful in college
He's going to be a great college player. I just hope we don't have to get burnt by him if he goes to another B1G school.
Just in case you were wondering about the KY vs Louisville All Stars BT. I was told it was a horrible rainy cold Sunday in Louisville and the Louisville team won 9-8 as the KY team missied 3 chip shot FGs. Also heard the Frankfort kids (3) of em accounted for the majority of the offense but there wasnt much offense from either team. Something like 150 yards for each team. Logan Woodside and another Frankfort kid Aaron Jackson got MVP awards.
I played the Benny Hill theme through the whole thing...
True story: it's also the best way to watch any of Michigan's offensive possessions against Alabama. Hold down your fast forward button during the song's duration for maximum effect.
Hey now, Hodge! Just because you didn't have the luxury of playing 'Bama in your opener...lol.

Heheh, man thank GOD we didn't. I think that--later on in the year--it would have been a pretty good game (at least it could have been haha), but Yeldon and Lacy would've had their way with our defense earlier on that season.
As a side note, how many teams have ever lost to the #1, #2, and #3 teams all the same season? That's just bad luck right there.
I know of one.
I agree, except it's more like #1, #2, and #2A. Also, I wish the Bama game would've been in Mid to late October. Still would've lost, but defense was a much better group than week 1. Also, would've been interesting to see if Gardner would've done better than Denard.

Spoiler...he wouldn't have done better. Gardner is completely overrated based on a couple good games against bad teams. Alabama's defense is better than OSU's defense, and OSU held him to under 150 yards total offense.
In all fairness to Devin Gardner, the Borges' offensive game plan may have been more responsible for him being held to under 150 yards of total offense. Once the tOSU defense keyed in that Devin would do all the passing and Denard would only run, Devin's day got more difficult than it had to be. The defensive linemen got to pin their ears back and come after him since they knew Devin was the passer, resulting in negative yardage plays (sacks). (still would have been a tough day, but maybe more like low 200's for total offense). Nothing kills an offense more than predictability when facing a good defense. Really, if Devin hadn't lost snaps to Denard, he would have had more plays to get more yards of offense, and who knows, maybe a different game plan (more plays being the more important point here). It would have been interesting if Michigan had done more of the things they did against Iowa. I was really curious how a better defense would do against that.
Also keep in mind that Devin has only been in this offense for two years, with half of that time practicing at WR and not QB. According to reports, he hadn't even practiced at QB since around the spring game. If true, I think he did a decent job and can only get better for next year, granted a full year will normalize his performance and really show what kind of QB he is. With only 4 career starts at QB, I do think it is too soon for Heisman talk, but not too soon for his fan base to be excited for his potential based on his performance. He really could be anywhere from great to average next year in my opinion.
With the above being said, I know that Devin would have had a rough day against Bama and definitely would not have made a difference in the outcome of that game.
@HAIL - Perhaps, since Gardner is more adept at throwing the ball. That alone would constitute more of a "dual threat" than Robinson could be. Truth be told, Borges's playcalling against Iowa would've been your best bet vs. 'Bama: lots of misdirection, should've lined Robinson up everywhere to try to maximize potential mismatches. That would've really caught 'Bama off guard. Enough to win? Probably not. Enough to make it fun? Hell yes.
Honestly, if Robinson would've been at full health against OSU, the above gameplan should've been what Borges ran at us. It would have given our LBs fits. Instead, it seemed like Borges tried to test the waters, but didn't necessarily want to commit to it.
after watching this video, i honestly do not see how this kid does not have an offer. I understand that the competition may be lacking, but he utterly dominates against everyone he plays. His jukes and quickness are unbelievable. He would fit perfectly in our offense. I sure hope he somehow finds his way into this class. I would definitely take him over quick and gibson.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog
Coach Smith and Coach Herman went to visit Timmons today, per Gene's Quick Bits.
Great patience waiting for his blockers to catch up, that is when he wasn't already 30 yards past everyone on the field!!! Kid is rediculous and wish him luck wherever he ends up, cause it doesn't look like it'll be with the S&G
I agree. His field vision is incredible. Very few have the speed quickness and instincts all wrapped up in 1 package. The good thing is OSU has several kids in line so we will be fine no matter what. In my mind if Timmons becomes the consolation prize I do know he will not be intimidated by anyone else and is the type of kid that will have the Tom Brady Aaron Rogers type of mindset to prove the doubters wrong.
Good points Way, I agree with you totally. Nice to know we have a plan b so to speak in the talents of RT. thanks for posting this!
