Shame. I was really hoping to see him breakout this year, especially after his showing early on last year. Oh well, best of luck to you, Mr. Reed; hope to see you tear it up wherever you land (provided it's not against us).

As an aside, I love to see these threads. Not because I like seeing guys leave the program; but because every time it happens, I see the vast majority of the comments not looking forward to who we can replace him with, but merely offering the young man the best of luck. It's things like this that make this site and community the awesome place that it is, cheers!

I had really high hopes for this guy, really hard to tell who will be the keepers and who will end up transferring or leaving for other reasons. Best of luck to him and all of his future endeavors.

Best of luck to the young man. He was never able to gain his spot back after that ACL injury. It looks like the decision to transfer was mutual. Wherever he ends up, that school will be getting a good football player and great young man.

Breaking down the numbers, looks like we have 79 players on scholarship, including the freshmen currently committed. That would leave 3 openings to make 22 in this class, but I do think a couple more transfers are on the way, so don't be shocked to see 25 or so in the class.

Carter was a name people were throwing around for a while. Wouldn't be suprised to see Moores name surface too. You'll probably see more names surface once the two LB spots are filled in the spring

Been saying that since April of this year...after there was attrition in Spring and potential for more by Augusts end. Urban Meyer and CO know what they're doing. This is the last class that can hold more than 20...2014 will have 20 or may be less (but hopefully more;-)

It's a shame about the transfer but it seemed like he had better chemistry with Bauserman than with Braxton. Wish him the best

The only thing Bauserman had chemistry with was the people on the sidelines cuz thats where the majority of his balls were thrown

Bauserman is the poster boy for judging a QB on how strong his arm is. Poor man's version of Dan Pastorini and Jeff George.

Good luck to Verlon! His injury was a real bummer, before he got hurt he was one of the bright spots on the 2011 offense.

This saddens me...I watched Verlon extensively at Marion Franklin and he did great things in HS. It's a shame he didn't flourish/get a chance in Meyer's system....I really thought he would. Best of luck to him...he's a helluva player IMO.
