So once we get done with all of the B1G expansion, what should the conference be called? Obviously, calling the conference The B1G is only a temporary thing until everything is finally done.

"Ohio State's playground" has a nice ring to it.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
^ It would seem appropriate, wouldn't it?
But in all seriousness, I don't see why the logo would need to change. The B1G could just be changed to BIG and it would seem to apply! Drop the "10" moniker and go solely with BIG.

Big North, NorthSouthEastConferenceInTheMidwest(NSECITM), America's Conference, B1G Conference Sponsored By The Guy Who Made Under Armour How Else Would Maryland Get In? (B1GCSBTGWMUAHEWMGI), B16 Candles, ESPNWILLYOULOVEMENOW?
1 of those is an actual suggestion.
Big Ten = B1G = B16

I think JEDKAT is exactly right. I don't know why people don't see it / think it's dumb, but from day 1, I always liked what the Big Ten did with the whole " B1G " thing. The " G " looks like a " 6 " so keeping the " B1G " is fine, and I bet they do keep it. I'm sure this was well taken into consideration when the Big Ten created the new logo.
MAYBE they close the loop in the " G " to a make a full " 6 ", but I don't think they have to.
I do like the idea of calling it the B1G conference.
I bet 13 years from now we're at 20 teams.
Chop 10 years off that at the pace we're going at.
Class of 2010
And then you could have two 10 team divisions, B1G East and B1G West would work (PLEASE ANYTHING BUT LEADERS AND LEGENDS).
Maybe we end up with 20 teams. The two divisions are the Old School and New School aka big ten 1992 an PSU plus the recent additions.
I thought about that too, VTBuckeye. But where does Nebraska go? Can't very well put them in the New School division with Rutgers and Maryland.
Plus, the 6 additions we make probably won't all be on the east coast. 3-4 more in the East (ACC) and 3-4 more on the west side (looking at you B12).
Many, many issues would have to be worked out before all those teams would be added, particularly the B12 teams. The B1G won't be able able to add B12 teams without the conference's permission due to the grant-of-rights agreement in effect for another 13 years. But with the amount of money at stake, I wonder if the two conferences might work something out eventually.

Keep it, what little tradition we have left in the conference has to stand for something.

The Conference formerly known as - or - a symbol? How in the world did this become a Prince thing???? Seriously though the B16 could happen, but I do think something along those lines is inevitable and already planned out. Anything as long as we lose the Legends and Leaders crazines..
The Big

THE Ohio State University
I was thinking Northern Coastal Conference or Great Lakes Conference. Something relevant to the region that won't become outdated based on the ever expanding number of teams in the BIG.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere, & Michigan still sucks
I've got a new nickname for the conference....
The Big Chill, as in - everyone chill out, bros LOL
There can only be one name that fits...Prestige Worldwide-Worldwide
D. Anthony
PWW? Can think of a lot of really humorous variations for those initials, most of them not good!!! LOL.
The name should change but Delaney keeps talking about the B1G being a "Brand." That would suggest a name change is already out of the cards.
