They have to offer him first.  Eric Glover-Williams will be another name to watch out for an offer

Who are you sourcing when you say "best sophomore back in the country" or is it just your opinion?

Just my opinion haha

I dont always root for college athletics, but when i do (which is most of the time) I choose THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

Glover-Williams is visiting OSU this weekend. He might get the first 2015 offer for an Ohio kid.

Watched him play on several occasions. Has all the tools to be a big time rb.  one game had 8 carries for over 200 yards and was never tackeled.  Naturally instinctive. He may have his choice of which side if the ball he wants to play on at the next level.

I am no expert on the subject, but if I were the coach of this kid (read: man-beast) my play book would consist of "give him the ball"

Tom Crean listens to Nickelback...

Egw is the top soph in ohio and will be the first in st 15 offer imo. All scout sites have him as top player in ohio for 15 this kid is a diff position tho and should be included in conversation

Film looks good, hard to tell if he has top end speed but otherwise he has all in the intagibles (great vision especially). Had a chance to seem him play in the second round of the playoffs vs St V's and I came away impressed. Seemed to run with a mean streak and has a solid motor. A couple more years of development and this kid could be something special as long as he keeps his head on straight. Definitely an all time effort guy, an Urban Meyer type player. I would love to see this kid playing for the good guys in a few short years. Here's hoping.

Sorry to break it to you, but there are several "super sophomores" that are better backs than him, that play against much harder competition (from what I can gather, Hubbard is DIII). Not saying he isn't a fantastic athlete, but certainly not the best back in the country. As others have said, the tape looks good, but I'm not sure if the speed is there. In D1 he's probably not getting away as easily.

Fair assessment, time will tell.

I agree with you there on the fact that he doesn't appear to have great top-speed, but it's interesting, I was watching an Ezekiel Elliot highlight film today and he doesn't appear to have elite top-speed either. Elliot is slotted at a 4.42/40 (which IS top-notch speed) but I didn't see it very often. Both are fast (Scott and Elliott), but more importantly, they both seem to have every other intangible you're looking for in a great back. I think Elliott will translate to a fantastic RB at OSU.

I also think great top-speed is a bit overrated in RBs. Very few RBs in the SEC run 4.4/40s (outside of Florida who recruits primarily trackstars), it's all of the other intangibles they have that make them great. Beanie Wells didn't run a 4.4 either (closer to 4.5 out of highschool, 4.6 at the combine iirc). It'll be interesting to see how this young buck (hopefully a pun that becomes a capitalized Buck in a couple years!) evolves over the next couple of years. My nephew went from 6' to 6'2 between Freshman and Junior years, as a Sophmore he may get to 6'1" 220 or even continue to develop his skills.

I haven't seen this kid play, and his highlights look pretty good, but I have seen Glover-Williams, and he looks better against tougher competition. GW is like 2x-Mr. Football-ohio good.  Regardless 2015 is along ways away.

Both kids are going to be big time. Saw tape on Glover earlier this season didn't know he was a soph. Yikes!!! With him and the QB they are gonna be nasty for a while.
