the way the other teams in the Pac-12 play ball, dont see USC winning that conference any time soon... Oregon, UCLA, Stanford...throw an up and coming Arizona team in there... just dont see USC winning the Pac-12 under Kiffin...the dude is soft and his players play that way.

You forgot ASU, Oregon State, and an ever-lurking Mike Leach at Washington State. That conference has so many monsters, it's scary. Makes me so glad we've got Urban tucked in as long as he wants in Columbus :)

My god GT is running it right down USCs throat. Kiffin really is a bad coach. He gets all these 4 and 5 syar recruits and he's currently getting throttles by a team of 3 stats. Great coaching from the GT coaches today
Sure did enjoy watching USC and Lane Violation go down to a 6-7 GT team. After USC's rude behavior toward GT & the Sun Bowl in general, they absolutely deserved the loss. Did you guys see the stat they posted that said USC was like the 2nd team ever to be ranked #1 to start a season and finish with 5 or more losses? Good job, Lane!

USC is very scary when they have the right coach (see: 2002-2008 Trojans in the modern area [something like less than 10 total losses over 7 full seasons], NCAA violations aside). They have nation-wide recruiting power that is second to none. I'm thankful that they have the blustering, blubbering Kiffin. Then again it'd be nice to have a true national power outside of the SEC to offset the SEC influence a bit.

watching USC get trounced is the perfect way to end the year. Could not have asked for much else. Going to open a bottle of cabernet, wait for the ball to drop, and just love the fact that I am an Ohio State Fan!!!

I read where USC basically blew off the Sherrif Posse dinner by showing up 90 minutes late. Both GT and USC were invited and GT showed up on time. The University of Spoiled Children did not show on time so Paul Johnson took his team and left after waiting 75 minutes.
This apparently pissed off the El Paso businesses who sponsored the dinner.

The sad reality is, if Oregon loses Kelly and is hit by NCAA sanctions, USC will still get the top talent in the West, regardless of this loss. UCLA will make a push, but I can tell you, living here, kids will always take a USC over UCLA.
