This isn't just about tonights drubbing, it's about a long line of sucking. I think at this point Bo is 0-5 in conference championship games. Outside of having Suh the "Black Shirts" have devolved into a pee-wee squad in Nebraska uniforms. He's been around for a long time and never has won the big one and I don't feel like his team likes or respects him at all. I think it's time for him to go.

It seems like he has continued Callahan's tradition of giving up 50-70 points in big games. I think they should seriously consider it. I mean, Wisconsin's offense has been AWFUL this year. How can give up 63 to them, let alone give up 63 points in the first place?
They can't fire a coach who got to the title game. Won't happen, though it probably should.
Who else is out there, really? Outside of Hazell at Kent State, and Kirby Smart DC at Bama, there really aren't that many names out there that are exciting. Bo's one of the most highly touted DC's in the game, unless they want to take a chance on an unknown, I don't see a true upgrade available for them.
What about the coach at Boise State? I think he'd be a great fit...
Smart would be an enormous upgrade.
The same question should be applied to Mack Brown. If I was a Texas fan I'd be furious.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
I don't think Nebraska ever gets back to serious national prominence with Bo. Honestly, I doubt whether they get back there, period.
We can't stop here; this is bat country...
Bring back Solich. Osborne screwed up by canning him. They haven't recovered yet. I miss watching those Power-I teams. Scott Frost, Eric Crouch... Blackshirt D. Isn't this why we brought them into the conference?? Sure as shit isn't for their academics.
Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.
Osborne fired Bill Callahan, not Solich.
He shouldn't, we all joke about Nebraska but in reality they are a top ten if not top 5 program all time and shouldn't put up with this garbage. They are getting a new AD next year so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets axed.
On the one hand, I think he should. On the other, he's won 10 games 3 out of the last 4 years and four conference titles in the last six. He's not going anywhere.
After that interruption of script ohio, it is obvious he is cursed and will eventually be the new ball deflator for lane kiffin at usc.
Don't think anyone else could do any better at Nebraska. It is tough to recruit kids to Lincoln. Osbourne was a once-in-a-lifetime gem for that institution.
I wouldnt see Nebraska firing Bo. If anything after what happened last night, I could see Bo taking the job for teams like Arkansas or Tennessee if they come calling. Why would he want to stay at Nebraska after what transpired last night really? He is a good coach and will always have a job as long as he wants to coach but from what I saw last night you would have to think this gets old for him after a while.
I can see why it is tempting and would understand any of their fans wanting him to be fired if they do. I just don't see it happening.
Class of 2010.
Apparently brady joke didn't see the game. He voted Nebraska #18 and Wisconsin #22 in his final coaches' poll.
Bo is just good enough to not suck. But his shenanigans is embarrassing. Better them than us.
