Turned on ESPN today and saw a blast from the past playing for Rice, the former Michigan man Sam McGuffie. He was the kid with the highlight tape that showed him jumping over people. The last time I saw this kid he was getting picked off the pavement after getting destroyed by the Bucks. McGuffie ended up becoming a pretty good player he is close to being a 1000 yard reciever and a 1000 yard rusher for this season. They probably should have tried to hold on to this kid he may have helped. I love that Michigan sucks.

McGuffie only has 16 yards rushing this season...he has been primarily a WR this season. I think you meant to say career, not season.
He only has 523 yards receiving as well. He's close to 1000/1000 over his 4 year career, if that's what you mean...? I love some Michigan schadenfreude as much as the next guy, but this kid's pretty mediocre.
This is what I remember when I hear the name, Sam McGuffie!

sorry I could only give a single upvote, cause I wanted to give a trillion.
~Because we couldn't go for three~
Yeah. It's totally awesome watching an 18-year-old kid get a massive concussion.
I'm a Michigan fan, but I wouldn't consider that kind of injury happening to an OSU player to be a good thing.
You ARE a Michigan fan.
I didn't know he got concussed. Get off your moral soap box and go out to your NASCAR track and tell folks they shouldn't watch cause something bad could happen.
Or better yet. save the sermons for the UM dirtbag coaches who released the kid because he was damaged goods after the concussion you jackwagon.
1) I'm not saying you shouldn't watch. I'm saying there's a difference between watching it and reveling in an injury.
2) I wasn't on a soapbox - I wrote 2 sentences, not a sermon.
3) They didn't release him. He had family issues, and transferred to be closer to home.
4) I totally get the instinct to revel in Michigan's down years. If the shoe was on the other foot - I'd do it too.
5) Jackwagon is a totally solid term. I will use it in the future to make fun of people.
I did not coin jackwagon, I lifted it from a Geico commercial.
Feel free to use it in the future, your boys already stole the helmet stickers and a ton of stuff for their band, so it will not be a surprise.
I like "jackbag" myself, but to each his own...

Very mature...
That's how I roll. I have a t-shirt that says "Keepin' it classy since 1983." I wear it at all times.
Not tryiing to be a smart ass, but what does it mean keeping it classy since 1983? What happened before 1983?
I wasn't born yet. To have an earlier date would be disingenuous.

What about the hit on David Boston by Marcus Ray? It seems to be something that all scUM fans revel in.
i like seeing any michigan player get hit like that (not necessarily the concussion part)... if the kid wasnt physically mature enough to be on the field it isnt osus fault he's there it was your own coach. the osu guys were just playing hard to the whistle (its what your suppose to do) your guys in ttun dont know anything about that.
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
Not often do you see a dude end up Indian-style in the middle of a hit...lol
Class of 2010.
big hit! UGH!
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
Wow. I totally forgot about this hit (hits). He took two of them simulataneously. That hurt watching!
He just broke a Rice record today for the first player to have 1000 yards rushing and passing in his career
I cant believe he's still playing in college. It seems like decades since he was at ttun.
This is what I think of when I hear the name Sam McGuffie. It's a spoof video from around the same time Sam became a YouTube sensation.
