interested to see how it plays out. I wonder how desperate OSU is for a lineman. Ive seen this kid play, and I think he is good, just didnt think he was OSU good.

I would rather bank the scholarship for next year then add players to juat add guys. That goes for any position.

Next year's OLINE class looks better than adding people just for numbers this year, I agree. I think barring injuries the OLINE should be a strong point again.

Also worth noting is that (as many already guessed), ESPN's reported that both Trey Johnson and Mike Mitchell will officially announce their commitments at their respective UA All-American (Jan 4th) and Army All-American (Jan 5th) games.

So we'll know whether we got both of them (along with James Quick) by the end of the first week of January.

I hate to say it, but I watch those games 10% to see how the OSU commits do and 90% to see who goes where (especially if someone with a chance to go to OSU is scheduled to announce), although I will say Noah and Adolphus were pretty beastly last year. Would love to see these two donning Block O caps in those games...

Now we just need to make sure Warriner stays at least one more signing day. I really think Donovan Munger is going to destroy worlds as a OG for us so I'm not so bummed we've missed on OL prospects so far.

They are just striking out on OL this year in the quantity they seem to have wanted. Got some good guys in last year and this year but it is clear that the staff thinks they need another at least.

LB Tommy Sanders of Butler County JC, KS wrapped up his official visit to South Carolina Sunday morning and headed to his home in Cordele, GA. SC was his last official visit and he plans to have a decision by Wednesday. "Everything was good," Sanders said. "I met with the players and the coaches. I hung out the most with Clowney. He's a great guy. He told me it's a great place with great support on and off the field. He said they have a strong team coming back and are shooting to win the SEC next year. They have five seniors (at linebacker) leaving so it's a great opportunity for me to come in and play. I'm going to go back home and narrow it down and see which one best fits me." Sanders also visited Ohio State, Texas A&M and Mississippi State and he's only considering the schools he visited. He said there is no leader at this point and he's not expecting any coaches to visit before the dead period begins Monday.

I've also heard quite a few people say recently that on certain smartphones the upvote and downvote are so small that they frequently hit downvote when they meant to hit upvote.

...at least that's what I tell myself every time I see I've gotten a downvote. They didn't mean it, it was only an accident, they really love you after all...

Tomorrow until it lasts through the Under Armour Bowl Game, which is January 4th. We can start contacting on the 4th, didn't want to confuse people on that.

Perhaps a change of venue is in order. Instead of "Quick Bits" you could do "Naughty Bits" and keep track of the various FBS university indiscretions, sanctions, non-compliance, etc. You'd need to include a "Return To Quick Bits" count-down clock, though. Just a thought.
