Regardless of which you choose, please be sure to include in the additional comments that you wish OSU-Michigan to remain on the final week of the Big ten regular season no matter what else happens.
Yeah I primarily talked in the comments of my survey about how we should be in the same division with Michigan and how things should be set up to not allow re-matches.
I think it's mostly because they feel they have a harder schedule than everyone else in their division. OSU fans don't really care that Wisconsin doesn't play UM any given year because... well... it really shouldn't matter what everyone in the division does. We should be undefeated in the conference. /ohiostatearrogance
No team wants to be in our division, especially Mich...it extremely lowers their chance of ever even getting to the Big 10 champ game. At least if they are in the opposite division they have a chance of winning some lame division titles.
The fact that only one of the three choices had Ohio State and Michigan in opposite divisions baffles me. Why would you not want those two, to fight it out for the Big 10 championship?
If they are in the same division, they still have to fight it out and no chance of a rematch that could dilute the results of the first match. There are scenarios where if left in separate divisions, it's possible we are both garunteed to go to the B1G Champ game heading into The Game and therefore make The Game not technically matter. Not that I wouldn't still watch or either coach would bench any starters, but they could.

It completely undermines the rivalry. Imagine this scenario...
Ohio State is 11-0 and Michigan is 10-1 heading into the game. No other B1G team is better than 8-3. So both Ohio State and Michigan have clinched berths in the B1G Championship Game.
Do you think the coaches and players might feel tempted to rest/protect starters in what is essentially a meaningless game outside of the rivalry factor so that they're at 100% for the Championship??
Inner/Outer would most likely destroy the conference. East/West is ok but I prefer to have Michigan as a cross division rival. Why wasn't there a North/South choice? It's like the B1G is trying so hard to screw this up even more than they have.

Two reasons OSU and tsun should be in the same division - to alleviate the possibility of a rematch the next week, but more importantly, having The Game as a "protected crossover" is a huge scheduling disadvantage to both us and tsun, assuming we are the best two teams in the conference on average (which obviously is a safe assumption). Every year our protected crossover game is against tsun is a year we're less likely to play the lower-tier teams on the other side. East-West easily makes the most sense. All natural rivalries (except piddly ones like maybe minnesota-tsun and indiana-purdue, but who cares) would be in the same division, eliminating the need for protected crossovers and evening the scheduling out.

Voted East-West. Also stated about "The Game" staying the finale. I made my reccomendation about playing 4 non-conference games, 7 conference games, a division championship, and a conference championship.
By the way, I've been reading here for over a year and this is my first post....Woo!
Someone please explain to me the advantage of the east/west scenario vs the inner/outer. I kinda liked the look of the inner/outer. There must be a reason everyone here prefers the east/west that I am missing.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
Put Mich in our division and make THE Game the final game every year just like it has been forever. If you leave them in the opposite division then THE Game will eventually be moved into an earlier scheduling slot. You know it will - so move them into our division and be done with it. Although could you imagine if we opened the season with Mich and then ended the year in the Big Ten title game against Mich again? That would be interesting!
Regardless of which you choose, please be sure to include in the additional comments that you wish OSU-Michigan to remain on the final week of the Big ten regular season no matter what else happens.
Done.
This and moving OSU and Michigan into the same division are my highest priorities with these realignment nonsense.

I'm glad that they are taking the opportunity to reconsider the division names.
Regardless, I think that the conference will go to 16 teams in the next couple of years, so all of this will be for naught.
Do your part and Vote!
I may care more about this than that election thing that happened earlier in the year..
The Divisions should be names "Ohio State's division" and "The not Ohio State division"

I have a feeling thats what us Buckeye fans will be calling it anyway...
if they do the plus 1, stick Maryland in the Legends to keep with the Ms and Ns plus Iowa thing they have going on right now.

Inner/Outer, is that like Razorbert's belly button in that disgusting picture that floated around on this site?
Additional Comments:
"Don't screw this up like you did last time, names included..."
The current division is def. my least favorite in what is presented as a Buckeye fan.

Is it me, or do Ohio State fans care less about Michigan and Ohio State being in the same division than Michigan fans seem to?
I sort of sense that as well.
Might be that MSU is a UM rival and Minnesota also - FWIW

they should play the first week like FSU Miami did
then we could beat them the first and last game of the BIG season
then destroy 2 SEC teams on the way to the National Championship
WE 14-1 only losing to Purdue allowing Hazell to keep his job
Im not greedy
I'm a friend of thunder is it any wonder lightning strikes me

~Because we couldn't go for three~

Ohio State and Michigan should never play each other more than once a year period.
Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.
Voted for East and West. Though I would be able to attend almost every away game on the Inner-Outer system.
"For the love of God, put OSU and Michigan in the same division."

It looks like the simplest solution. Easiest travel for the teams, too.

I liked inner outer. It kept us with michigan and put penn state nebraska wisconsin and iowa in the same division. One of those teams is usualy good.
Inner/Outer?
This is my chance:

I am glad the B1G is at least asking for our input. I hope they don't ingore it.
