Not having tOSU and State Penn ineligible for post season play has alot to do with the horrible bowl matchups for B1G teams, with the exception of Nebraska. I really don't think the Rose Bowl would have taken Nebraska over an at large. This was their destiny, and to be honest, I don't think the B1G coaching carousel has stopped moving.
My thought as well. Wait until that happens along with the Bielema relocation to ignite the fuse on the SEC is taking over the world and the B1G is in the toilet media explosion.
I can see MSU beating TCU. That is going to be a good game. Bell will cause TCU defense alot of problems. I can see NW being able to hang in there as well and possibly winning. And IF Whisky defense comes to play they can really shock Stanford with that power run game on offense. I dont think any of those three games are guaranteed L's for them.
I can see conference getting a couple of wins, I just dont' see any game that I'd be absolutely comfortable betting my money on. Ohio State's 12-0 would look great if MSU, Nebraska, AACC, Purdue, and Wisconsin all won their bowl games, I just don't see it happening.
I have to say, I enjoy the Nebraska fan base as much as any (other than ours of course). They are generally nice people. They got used to some serious success, and since they have fallen off they have become this sort of self loathing, snarky, very entertaining group. This line was particularly LOL worthy.
The team that was 5 yards away from the National Championship? Great. We couldn't even handle the team that was 5 wins away from the National Championship.
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."
Nebraska would take a bad angle and get out run by the morbidly obese bulldog on the sideline. That team is going to core out our defense and likely not break a sweat in doing so.
This would be a lot funnier if it were Penn State fans, Wisconsin fans, Michigan fans...Basically any fans aside from Nebraska. Nebraska and Northwestern are the two teams in the league I don't hate, and they also have pretty solid fanbases.
I recall when our Defense was having serious issues with tackling, but Coach Fick would also say leverage was an issue. Nebraska's D in the B1G Championship gave us a clear example of how important leverage is because they lacked that quality. Not to mention, they took some of the worst angles I've seen, and it seemed like Wisky's backs were simply beating them every time.
Hey, at least they can claim they are not delusional as a fanbase. They are being honest...
I totally agree
Too bad they can't even say, "well, we have a shot to when if _____". I would love to see Georgia go down, but I think the Nebraska fans are right.
Hey, I'd love a Nebraska upset as much as the next guy, but it isn't likely...
The gif of #80's block on #10 is phenominal.
Such b.s. that the refs called a personal foul on that hit.

The first post is lord be with us lol. I have Nebraska neighbors here in Florida and they are pretty great, they have an outstanding fanbase.

B1G probably won't win a bowl game this season. Maybe Northwestern

At least they're not like Meatchicken fans. Nebraska fans know they have no shot.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Oy vey, BUT, on the upside... look at this little gem! Husker layin the wood to some fathead disciple.
i can watch this gif over and over again and never ever get tired of it
I don't know whether to laugh or cry when I see that GIF!
That was a great block! I think the refs threw a flag b/c the Whisky player didn't get up so they figured it was helmet to helmet (which it wasn't)

Nebraska in the days of Tom Osbourne were ridiculously good, that's why they need a new coach. They shouldn't settle for anything less.
I liked the one where they were hoping the new AD will somehow cancel/deny their bowl bid so they can finish 10-3 rather than 10-4 ha
Too hilarious...
The one thing Nebraska fans can finally be right about...how much their team is going to suck in the next game

I've got friends who are Georgia fans, so as long as Nebraska holds them under 63 I'm good.

We can't stop here; this is bat country...
