ok so finally there is what looks to be (at least on paper) a great MNF matchup. Houston at New England. I have this feeling that New England's gonna pound them, though. I think all of the crossing routes New England runs against the Houston LBs will be the deciding factor. Houston can't account for Welker, Hernandez and the rest of those athletic weapons. Houston is a little banged up on D, too. Houston a little smoke in mirrors maybe. Heck, look at how many yards the lowly Jags put up on the Texans in Houston a few weeks ago.
I'll go with New England 37 Houston 20
what do y'all think - think Houston can hang around tonight and pull of the upset, or will be the typical Patriots December outcome? They just don't seem to lose at home towards the end of the season

I think you're onto something with the Pats weapons vs. the Texans D.
Plus the other big game the Texans had, the primetime one against the Packers at home ---- they got smashed.
I'll say Patriots --- 31 Texans --- 17
I need 26 points from schuab and foster to go to the finals of my money league. c'mon!!!
I think Schaub will get you at least 22 points...combined you'll get 26. Just think that they'll lose. The Patriots defense isn't perfect, so Schaub will do some damage. But that Texans defense -just don't think they can hold the Pats under 30
Gronk is playing? I thought he broke his arm?

If I could upvote my own thread - I would.
LOL @ the sensitive trolls who downvoted my joke about upvoting my own thread
hahahah man - some of you people take yourself waaaay too seriously...especially with this upvote/downvote stuff. wow
Texans got taken to the woodshed last night. I know it was in Foxboro but geez, that was not pretty. Houston better hope they get home-field advantage (and even then I'm not sure it matters after last night).

The patriots exposed those PRETENDERS that the Texans are. They are one and done in the playoffs.
Blow out losses to GB and NE. The miserable Jets and Jaguars almost beating them..OVERRATED.

right on Jason!
A lot of pretenders out there right now. The Bears are, the Falcons are, the Texans probably are too. With NY's ability to still get at the QB, and everyone else (save SF) they might play having SERIOUS OLine issues, them and the 49ers are your NFC title game participants who will all play to earn the right to play the Pats*. Green Bay can score on anyone but struggle mightily against teams that can rush minimal players and still get pressure-something SF and NY can do in spades.
*I'm not ready to give up on Denver though. Manning is better than ever and Von Miller can be a nightmare for New England. The Pats did knock them off but they are a different team today. When its all said and done (and assuming the seeding makes it possible) I do think your Super Bowl Participants are the Pats or Denver vs the Giants or 49ers. I know I'm not really going out on a limb there but they are probably the 4 best, most complete, and least injured teams in the NFL. All of whom should have a home playoff tilt or two to aid them along the way
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
It seems that there are one of those every year, doesn't it? Team that rolls through the regular season, gets the first round bye, and then loses at home in that divisional game. I think the Texans are that team this year.
