Linsley

Interesting to see the guy being overlooked during the awards/recognition season. This guy was perhaps my favorite Buckeye this year, a huge reason why our O-line was able to turn around like it did. I'm really thought he was excellent this year, and I am psyched to see what he and our veteran line can do in '13.

I agree Linsley did a great job this year.  Bad snaps were rarely an issue.  I'm glad the new staff seemed to help him turn his life around, and he will be a great asset in 2013.

I'm going to disagree and say bad snaps were an issue.

Agreed. So many high snaps.

Especially in the last 3-4 games.  I hope that gets fixed.

He was hurt the last 2 games of the year which accounted for the high snaps

This was released before the final two games.

The bottom line is that three is the total of errant snaps this season for Buckeyes junior Corey Linsley. And considering his lack of experience as a snapper coming into the season, the importance of his role in starting every play in the spread offense and now the number of games he's played as the offensive line's anchor, Ohio State has plenty of reasons to consider that a magic number.

There was one bad delivery in the first game of the season against Miami (Ohio). He was inaccurate with another snap at the start of overtime against Purdue, and Linsley was off the mark again with the Buckeyes in a Wildcat formation at Penn State.

For a guy who lacked experience as a Center, I'd say he did a fine job.

He was damn near perfect until the scUM game. Think they said he had 4 all year. Then had like 4 in that game alone. Think linsley did a great job snapping the ball and playing the center position all around.

Agreed,  Urbs had nothing but praise for Linsley!   The job is his,  until Jacoby can actually take it from him.

What is considered errant? I felt he snapped high quite often, although only a few got away. Braxton made due. Corey was good for first year in position can be great.
