Foster de-commits. Do we go after him?
EDIT: Now seeing that he is looking at Georgia, LSU, Miami and Washington. Dang. Still, do we try for him?

I doubt it, but it might help us with Trey Johnson since it is even less likely that he would change his mind and head back to Auburn.
Is it hard to change a war eagle tattoo into a block o?
Funny paint job there
I guess that ship has sailed, huh?
Is this GIF a slo-mo of the Buckeye linebackers' tackling technique earlier in the season? Hey, try wrappin' somebody up whydontcha?
"Get him a body bag, Yeah!"
Wasn't it this kid's recruitment that launched the NCAA investigation?
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/prep-prep-rally/ncaa-investigates-reuben-foster-auburn-switch-while-mom-152937051.html
Yeah it was him because he couldnt keep his mouth shut. Of course the NCAA found no foul play with it but you are correct with the investigation over him.
If he goes to UGA that all but narrows down Raekwon to OSU and Clemson. He's said many times he will not go to the same school as Foster, doesn't like being compared to him
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
I wouldn't mind going after him, but I don't think we would land McMillian if we somehow got Foster.
^What Triv said, I was about to edit this and write the same thing until I read his post.
No point in even making a phone call. This guy wants no part of the North.
King in the north!.....Game of thrones reference? No one....Fine.
I don't even know what that is.
It's an exceptionally well-written and well-acted HBO series. It basically is like The Lord of the Rings meets The West Wing.
Not biased in any way, are you?
I mean, I love the series. But, when a show holds a 9.4/10 on IMDB, it's normally a harbinger for universal acclaim.
I don't have HBO. But I have seen it while on the road for business a few times. I'm a Walking Dead fan now.
I watched the first and second seasons, and it really started dragging for me during the second. I've heard that the third season is better, is that indeed the case?
Yep. In case you care. AMC will be doing a marathon New Years Eve and Day showing every episode. The DVR will be cranked up for that one. They are on a pre season break till FEb right now.
I've gotta give that show credit: it's what got me into TV. I hardly ever watched TV shows (though I do have a pretty hearty DVD collection) until The Walking Dead came out. After that it was Mad Men, Doctor Who, True Blood, and Game of Thrones consuming my free time at a damn-near-constant clip.
News, Walking Dead and Survivor. That is about all I have time for. Although I do enjoy HardCore Pawn and Pawn Stars as I begin dosing off at night. My secret vice.
Don't forget bReaking bad and sons of anarchy.
"Get him a body bag, Yeah!"
You should read the books, Hodge. Trust ol Bucktooth, you wont be able to put them down. Also, HBO is doing the next book as 2 seasons, so you have plenty of time.
Bucktoooooth, heeyaw.
Bucktooth tells no lies. (a man has said no lies) I'm on book 3, A Storm of Swords, and it is amazing. Season 3 on tv is going to be awesome.
Love the show and the books.
"Did you push yourself to be great today? If you didn't do it you lost a day. We ain't got many days to lose. We're going to push your a$$ like its never been pushed because what you've got in you were going to find out" UFM
Too much baggage... Let him go to UGA and give us McMillan.
Perkins+Williams+Perry+Lewis+Mitchell+Johnson+Booker+Garrett+McMillan= NASTY!!!!
That would be the best LB corps in the country!
I don't buy the whole "Baggage" thing... but didn't one of our Raekwan say he didn't want to play with Foster?
You don't buy decommitting from 2 schools and a NCAA investigation as baggage?
Hi... I'm reality... Have we met?
Where there is smoke... There is fire!
So Pryor and the other players were paid with cars? I don't like taking the trigger happy media's word for anything anymore, especially when it means that I have to think less of someone I've never met.
Pryor and others broke the rules... Again, where there is smoke... There is fire! The staff needs to steer clear of this kid. If we get him, McMillan won't come.
Reuben Foster and Robert Foster: both BAGGAGE BAGGAGE BAGGAGE BAGGAGE. Keep those types as far away from the university of ohio st. (sic) as possible!
"Get him a body bag, Yeah!"
No way I would want to go after this kid with the path that he has already created in his recruitment. Im hearing from one of my friends who is a big Auburn fan that UGA could be a big possibility for him. He is from Georgia origionally.
This kid is the defanition of baggage! He'll go to UGA with all of his issues in tow
It's worth one of two things to us. It's worth making a phone call to check in but I don't think it'll do anything...He seems all about the SEC. The more valuable thing it could be worth (just since the former is mostly worthless) is showing commitment to McMillan by not contacting him and telling McMillan we will show no interest because we're committed to you (and McMillan wants no part in following in Foster's footsteps).
Why is he considering Washington?
Buckeye till I'm dead
Pot is legal now?
shm
yes, it is -- for all the passive pussies out there it is
i dont get it with the pot -- anybody i knew from my school days was a straight up loser who did pot
i also never know of any hardcore drug user who just started doing coke or heroin first....9/10 of them started at loserville (pot) then worked their way up to harder drugs
and its a buncha bunk about it being good for you
Well, I don't know any hardcore drug users, so I'll just have to take your word on that.
@JOSHY - There's another side to this debate, but I'll avoid it since we're dangerously skirting the line with politics, here.
In lieu of that, I'll say that while your "gateway drug" arguement has merit; I respectfully disagree with you. There are a lot of losers who smoke pot, but that stereotype shouldn't define its legality.
Causation and Correlation my friends. People aren't going to say "Man pot was awesome, but how awesome would Heroin be?". If people want to get high, they will snort, smoke, chew, drink, or shoot anything that gets them there. Its an overly simplistic view to say weed causes one to jump from drug to drug. The Gateway Drug theory is hokum intended to vilify an otherwise harmless drug. I don't smoke marijuana as a matter of preference but when I did (ZOMG STONERS!) I never once wanted to elaborate upon my drug palate. None of the friends I had at that time advanced beyond it either. To say there is such a thing as a gateway drug is to severely underestimate the notion of addiction.
Attempting to approach Joshy logically, however, is like trying to nail jello to a wall with a mayonnaise hammer. Enter at your own risk.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
Users are losers, Joshy. Users are losers.
Bucktooooooooth, heeyaw.
yeah BUCKTOOTH heeeeeeeyaw!
other dude-bros, I'm cool with my 12 pack of Miller Lite or Stella after payday and feeling good...but I make sure not to drink and drive.
Alcohol is a dangerous drug, too as we all know
driving while high is just as bad or worse
i also hate second hand smoke and no im not a tree hugger i just hate it because i have asthma sometimes at smoky bars
dude the ohio stopped allowing smoking in bars and restaurants like ten years ago.
"Get him a body bag, Yeah!"
bro - not in all parts ... not where I'm frequenting. I live on the edge sometimes, man
I hang out in some seedy places becuase I can hustle people with my pool skills. no joke
it's like these bars dont have rules; just 80s music, cigarette smoke & loose women
but I connect with those people there
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
LOL! You're alright, Joshy.
Bucktooooooth, heeyaw.
I know man, I was just kinda playing off of "Joshy" 's usage of the words dude and bro. LOL. Joshy - for the record - I wasn't trying to put you down or make fun of you or anything, I was just playing, man. I get kick out of some of your posts.
Take it with a grain of salt. This is the same guy that made a nonsensical post today about next season and then explained it away as it may or may not have been able to be blamed on alcohol. A drug is a drug, whether legal or not.
I'm still chuckling about "loserville." Milk, cookies, and a nice after school special for Joshy.
Bucktooooooth, heeyaw.
Personally, given the stance he seems to have about drugs, I'm baffled that he hangs out with hardcore drug users? Odd, isn't it?
no dude didnt mean i am close with many
just saying knew of some of these kids from high school who played football in the 9th grade then quit, smoked a few doobies, and got into harder stuff
sadly there are 4 kids from my high school that have OD and died from heroin .. its sad, really . but i just feel like if they didnt start with the ganja - not guaranteed - but theres a good chance they wouldnt ended that harsh way as such a young age
some can handle it, some cant. it s safer to not legalize because youre not taking that chance with peoples lives .. i also hate passive inactives
Hey joshy, I'll make you a promise. From now on when I repond to you, I will put the laptop on the floor so that my reponse won't go over your head. Deal?
Oyster - it's only a deal if you promise to do it with your nose not so high up in the air that youre getting high on oxygen
Maybe Washington is adopting a SEC-Northwest division policy of paying its players in weed.
"Get him a body bag, Yeah!"
Georgia, lsu, miami and washington...one of these things is not like the others. What makes a kid rom georgia consider a school on the other end of the country? I doubt he ends up there, but that just strikes me as odd considering he's been committed to two sec schools.
The surprise name in the mix of Foster's potential landing spots (even if that landng is only a layover) is Washington, which lends to Tosh Lupoi's recruiting reach. With a 3-year old daughter, though, it's hard to imagine Foster going that far out West without complications. Foster's soap opera recruitment will play out till February and possibly beyond, along with Nkemdiche's. He'll end up being one of Georgia's 35 or so recruits, IMO.
