Can't wait for this kid to suit up in Sept!
Kid is a freak athlete thats for sure. Strap me into a roller coaster and I still couldn't flip that many times in a row.
Wonder if he has his Uncle's Boxing skills?
“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
Thanks for posting. So excited for Bosa to line up in Scarlett and Grey! In another interview, I heard the head coach of STA say that Bosa may be the best defensive player he's ever coached! That is really incredible at that program.
I aboslutely can't wait for him to suit up. This is my favorite recruit of the 2013 class. I like his overall attitude - at first I didn't like all the celebrating he does (i.e. is he cocky?) - but after watching more and listening to him talk, I think he has a GREAT mix of confidence and toughness, and frankly we can use some beasts on the field. As long as they aren't Ndomokong Suh-like, I can handle some cockiness if it is backed up with toughness and results.
NOTE: I'm not saying he IS cocky, I'm just noting that possibility. If he does have some cockiness, I think it's just enough to bring toughness and excitement, without being inappropriate.
I want Bosa to be the guy who makes Kyle Kalis look foolish :-)
Same mold as JJ Watt, let's hope he turns out something close to him. I can't wait for him to get on campus.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
He reminds me a lot of Cam Heyward -- type of guy who can play inside and on the edge as an SSDE. Kid looks like a beast though.
His commitment to being the best he can be in the weight room and on the field, plus his leadership skills, makes me hope he is the next 'John Simon' we are looking for.
Or the first Joey Bosa!
I think he will be physically able to go right off the bat. He's a strong dude and has played high level competition throughout HS.
His brother is already a workout junkie at age 14-15? Kid is getting big like his brother, wonder what position he will play in a couple years. If Joey stays all four years, could play for a season with his bro at OSU. That might be stellar!
Joey is going to be awesome! I used to wonder about the rave, clubhead stuff but he seems very level headed and knows what his goals are. Big long body is going to be a plus as well. like a few others have said, very much like JJ Watt. Used to think he will be Simon 2.0 but I think he will have the motor like Simon and the body of a monster!
Saw this before but don't mind watching it again. I have a feeling I'm going to love this kid...my kind of Defensive Lineman. Don't like hearing about how he's too aggressive and what not. That's punani talk as far as I'm concerned...watch Taylor Decker's film from his SR year. Do you really think for a second that OSU coaches said, "Well his mean streak and playing to the whistle by smearing his opponent into the ground is just unacceptable..." I think not...Joey's a FREAK athlete and I can't wait to see him in Scarlet and Gray and as someone stated above...I also can't wait to see him stomp a mud hole in Kalis's ass in the next coming years.
"There's nothing that cleanses your soul like getting the hell kicked out of you."
"I love football. I think it is most wonderful game in world and I despise to lose."

Really looking forward to seeing him play next year. I like the guys that bring a bit of swagger to the field without going over-the-top. I think that helps infect the whole team with an overhwhelming confidence to get the job done on the field. I love watching a nasty defense!
I have never seen such an athltic big man! The Big Bear is my favorite recruit to date. Cant wait for him to tear it up in the Shoe!
I really have a hard time reading these articles with the Snorgtee girl on the right side.lol
bosa is my favorite recruit... i think he woulda been a five star if he would have attended more camps
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
I agree and would add that he would probably have a fifth star if he would have toyed around more with his recruitment, thus stretching out the updates on him as STA progressed in the state tournament. He just seems like a kid who didn't (and doesn't) need that kind of showering of attention and knew where he wanted to be. If you look at the press given to Treadwell, Reuben Foster, Nkemdiche, and others, it just seemed like they were all the recruiting sites could talk about, great players though they may be. I get it, but it just seems like another glitch in the star system.
Favorite recruit as well. Just love getting players Alabama offered.
