It's pretty clear that Big 10 football is down but I guess I didn't realize how bad it was until I looked team by team. Of the 14 teams, tOSU is the only team I'd invest in if the teams were stocks. OSU is solid bet and moving up. The only other team ticking up the past season was Northwestern and they've likely reached their highest point. Michigan should be moving up but not a safe bet...virtually all the other teams are trending down. Usually out of Nebraska, Wiscy, Iowa, Michigan St. and Penn St, one of them looks to be ready to make a charge for a couple years. I don't see it in any of those teams. Anything can happy but outside of Mich, no team has close to the talent of OSU or is in position to make a run as a legit top 10-15 team. Part of me doesn't care because I'm not a big conference guy...but outside of b-ball the BIG is headed for some dark years...and knights and turtles won't brighten them.
