People on volnation seem to think they have a shot at Gibson. Granted, they think they will get pretty much everybody they offer, but still it's funny to read.

If Gibson's recruitment isnt finished after Jan 11th offical then we know grades are still the issue and he most likely won't end up here.

Nothing to worry about as long as grades/scores in order...if not I doubt he goes to any D1 school next year and will be on his way to prep/military school
If he is that close to being unable to make grades to get into OSU, it seems like it will be difficult for him to maintain grades after he gets there. These guys can certainly cause coaches concern.
He will have an incredible amount of academic support at OSU, I am sure if he ends up at OSU he will have no problem staying eligible and moving towards graduation.
Well Gibson is a talent at a position of need right now. If his grades and study habits are so poor that he leaves after a season due to academic issues, then it is really no harm no foul beyond a few Pts off of a future APR score
That Tenn. recruiting board was pretty funny. I looked at a Von Bell thread and one of the first posts was about Bell before he had any offers and all the tenn fans were like yah we have a shot at one of the best safties in the nation but we're going to go after someone w/ no offers.. I'll pass etc. Then scroll down a few months later and now they all think he is a lock ha. Funny stuff.
