Its too bad a small number of students will be there. Students will only be seated in the bleachers in St. Johns. I imagine the line to get in will start pretty early which sucks when you have a Friday Final at 2 :(
@Firedup-if you are concerned about the lack of seating in the student section, perhaps you would consider printing out a ticket/voucher- probably be able to find seats in other areas of St. John's? Yeah, it might not be in the student section, but it would be with other OSU fans. And hey, to hear TBDBITL one more time (especially after this season's fabulous performances), along with Meyer and the seniors, would be worth it! Wish I could be there.
BTW, I hope someone records it and puts it on youtube for those of us who would love to be there but can't!
Students will be seated on the floor bleachers to start, then in the general public seats. Don't worry about not getting a seat.
I'll be there taking photos/videos.
How early would you reccomend getting there to get a bleacher seat?

I just talked to a few people; they'd recommend when doors open. Students will be seated in the bleachers first, then concourse. If you're a block o member with a card, you'll sit in a reserved area by the team. At least that's what fan-ex is saying.

Does anyone know if Mike Mitchell, Dawson, or Conley (Bell if he makes it up) will be able to make this? It would be a great recruiting tool JMO...
I was wondering the same thing, guess it depends on what time they're departing/arriving. Not the same as being at The Game, but still a pretty cool thing for recruits to see. A good family atmosphere where you're appreciated is important to them, and to the team that just went 12-0!!!! They deserve everything from us the fans after the season they put together. Wish I could be there to show my love for the team, but I hope everyone that can go, does, and gets in! Go Bucks!!!
Two years removed from being a student but my wife is back going to grad school now. We'll be making a trip to St. John. Luckily, I still have my BuckID.

Urban improves in my estimation every day. If felt weird at first with him as the coach after the '06-'07 NCG with Florida. But you can really see him as an Ohio State guy to the core and I am starting to think of him more an more as our guy. I love the excitement he's brought and the student involvement he's generated. He cares for the students as much as any coach we've had. I love that we are still running big bruising backs. I love those circle drills. His straight forward honesty reminds me of Earle. And now this. Love the letter. If I was in town that day I would go.
I was devastated when we lost JPT. The way his amazing tenure at Ohio State ended did not at all represent what he stood for, or what he meant to the Ohio State family. I was incredibly upset about how JPT and our boys were villified in the media, all while scum of the earth like Bobby Petrino and Rick Neuheisel continued to walk the sidelines unscathed. Only one man could make all of that hurt, pain and unfounded criticism disappear, and that man was Urban Frank F&%#$ Meyer. Not only did the pain and despair melt away; our team, our state and all of Buckeye Nation rose up with furious anger and righteous indignation against the vile, hateful "Worldwide Leader" and its mindless, spoon-fed flock of SEC miscreants. Salvation has arrived, fellow Buckeyes, and redemption is nigh!

This is why Urban is a genius. Everything he does is with an eye on the future and how it can impact recruiting. I'm not saying he's being insincere toward the seniors and this team by any stretch. I whole heartedly believe that he wants the place electric for them, but it's no accident this event is also happening on probably the 2nd biggest recruiting weekend on campus this year. This guy is amazes me
I'm getting so freaking pumped up for next season! Maybe we should have a count down to the first spring practice, and the first game! I don't think I've ever been this bummed for a season to end and this excited for one to start! Dammit! GO BUCKEYES! For those going to the event--don't think I have to say it but, have a blast! Wish I didn't live so freaking far away!
