I am just curious.
I was looking at some of our 2014 targets on bucknuts/247 & decided to check out Peppers. Says we are "warmer" at the top w/ Stanford.
Does anybody know if he has moved us up into his top 2? or is 247 just making thing sound interesting. I cant remember if Peppers visited for the scUM game & if he moved us towards the top after the visit or what not.

Urban and Stanford coach are the last two to visit him , but who knows.
urban went to see him yesterday. shaw from stanford went to see him last week. they claim osu and stanford are going after him the "hardest".

In the 247 article his coach says something along the lines of "Meyer and Shaw where at school tday and OSU and Stanford are coincidentally Peppers's top two.
I still thinkg Stanford leads, but Peppers wants to visit this spring.
Shaw seems like the real deal, and Stanford's defense was exceptionally nasty this year. I've heard that academics are huge for Peppers, so I think it'll be hard to beat the Cardinal for him.
I mean, if I was an academically inclined defensive stud, I think Stanford would be at the top of my list. Amazing campus, weather, academics, and a good team? Hard to beat. Hopefully Urban gets him.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
I don't know if he has any family out there or not, but if not hopefully the fact that OSU is closer (NJ to Ohio rather than NJ to California) is one plus that OSU does have. We're also an AAU member, so not too shabby.
But naturally I have to agree with you. I've heard Peppers is a very academic-minded young man, so Stanford would be tremendously appealing. The fact that they've also been legit as a football school even post-Harbaugh is something that keeps them in the discussion.
