My Michigan buddy just sent me a message stating "[5-star RB] Derrick Green to Michigan," but every place I look [Rivals, Scout, Twitter, 247 Sports, MGoBlog] isn't eporting this.
Anyone hear/know anything about this?

I have not heard it but I have been anticipating it.
If it happens, prepare for the "Scorned OSU fan turned Michigan star" storyline to dominate The Game for the next four years.
Of course by his senior year it could be that the main story is that scorned fan is 0-3 heading into his final game.
Upvote for this comment, sir.
Since I don't know the back story, how was he scorned?
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
We cooled as we got commits. He waited to long, and the staff stopped pursuing him.
I agree was what STEENSN said, but just want to reiterate that this is actually a situation where the staff cooled on a guy because it seems that term is used a lot and most people shrug it off and laugh at it. I'm not saying he would have committed to OSU had we stayed in, but once the staff got Elliott they basically stopped recruiting Green. We (fans) didn't want to believe it at first, even as Elliott said in interviews that the staff told him they were done recruiting RB, but it proved to be true within a couple months of the Elliott commitment.
Normally we do laugh it off, I believe I didn't believe it at the time... but in this case it was clear, they were done. I would rather have Elliot anywas. He is a better fit.
I'll be preparing for, Urban Meyer is riding a 23 game winning streak and is set to put Ohio State into the national championship game against Georgia, all the while Braxton will be putting the finishing touches on his heisman campaign
Haven't heard that, but wouldn't be surprised. Of course, I won't believe anything he says until he officially signs.
I did see that it is not looking good for them with Treadwell. We will have nothing to worry about with them until they get some decent WR's. Their WR corps is going to be laughable over next couple of years.
kid loved us till tress was gone. read the other day hes waiting to see who gets hired at auburn and tenn.
I dont know karate but i do know crazy and i'm not afraid to use it.
&
@Scarlet...have you asked your friend where he got his info from?
Neither Sam Webb, nor Tom Van Haaren have mentioned anything. Not so much as a rumor on any of the Michigan sites. You got me really excited, though.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

Maybe it is Sports by Brooks, he is very reputable....
He finally mentioned he was just trying to get attention. I replied with... typical Michigan fan.
Who cares...let him go if that's what he wants. He'll have a pic made of him like this below:
"There's nothing that cleanses your soul like getting the hell kicked out of you."
"I love football. I think it is most wonderful game in world and I despise to lose."
Woody Hayes 1913 - 1987
I am expecting this to happen, I thought Auburn might take him, but the coaching change will be a challenge there. I still wish we had kept pursuing despite our ridiculous depth.
Atfer the Gus Malzhan hire, I see potential for Auburn to jump back in. He worked wonders with Michael Dyer
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
We're stacked ar RB and Urban is looking at some bigtime LB's to do this to opposing RB's (and QB's) = not worried.

Holy calf muscle definition, Batman!
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."

BITTER BEER FACE!
I wonder what he's saying to him right now???? I'm going to go with, "You better hope they don't call another run play...bitch!"
That face on tTUN guy IS GREAT!

IMO Michigan will be a good fit for him. Tons of available early playing time. Hopefully he'll turn out to be the next Mike Hart and go 0-4. :)
Hope it doesnt happen, but I think it would be a great spot for him to land, and expect it to
Great recruits on the oline, a 5* qb recruit (mouthy little sob but still projected to be good), and a 5 star RB could lead ttun to a very good offense in the near future.
wow.. started calm and ended with so much hate after that.
Morris is a camp stud and thats it. He's got a strong arm but when he doesnt have any WR's to throw to, it doesnt matter. Green is a big boy but doesnt wow with speed or agility. JT and Zeke are where its at!
No receivers, terrible play caller, and a head coach who is more concerned about being the DL coach than being the head coach...no need to worry.
Mike Hart 2.0
Wonder if he'd consider going to Arkansas now knowing the bielema likes to pound the ball between the tackles
If he goes to Mich, he will play behind Smith for many years IMO.
I agree that Malzahn makes Auburn more attractive to Green; probably helps solidify that class overall as a connect to Cam and national championship. @B_PBUCKSFANS: my feelings on Green exactly, though he is a physical specimen. I'd be surprised to hear any commitment from him before All-Star games or signing day. He really likes the recruiting process and will probably enjoy it for all its worth. Hey, you only get to do it once.
This kid would be a great fit for that Stanford offense...don't know if he has the grades or they're interested
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
Ole Miss is the one to watch in this recruitment expect Treadwell to go after him hard.
