I wake up today to news that UofL won a recruiting battle over Ohio State, Alabama, Texas A&M and others over Richard Benjamin, a 4 star recruit from Florida. Which is funny, because even though ESPN shows he has on offer from OSU, I don't recall ever seeing his name on this site (must not have been a committable offer). I guess they have to throw the powerhouse programs names into the news release to prove that the guy is a big name player. I also saw a Cards fan go on to say that with this addition, they have the deepest WR corps in the country ( I guess they're assuming Quick to UofL is a done deal).

I don't really care where he goes to school, I'm just saying that even if they have Benjamin and Quick, would that push them to the top of the nation as far as a WR corps goes? I guess we'll have to wait to see where Phil Steele ranks them next year. And it only matters to me because I live in Louisville and have to hear them chirping about it all the time.

If I would call out WR depth and core in terms of the 2013 class, I would point toward the direction of Texas A&M and their WRs.
Great talent at WR paired with the passing ability of Teddy Bridgewater will equal very impressive numbers by UofL. Bridgewater is going to be a legit Heisman contender next year.
He is crazy accurate. It really is a toss up for me between him and Braxton.
Plus, OSU might have to play UofL in a playoff come 2014. It's not that far out of the question.

U of L fans are about as delusional as you get. Of course Teddy played well they never played a top 25 team and had the 101st strength of schedule, dick Benjamin is a lowly 3 star and was a UCF recruit. They can go back to their bottom 25 recruiting class and hood ass campus.
Really? Louisville fans? Obviously you've never met any Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan, Tennessee, LSU, Arkansas or Florida fans.

At least those teams are good or at least were once good. Loserville is a joke!
Let UofL have all the WR depth they want. Maybe adding some depth will help them actually beat Syracuse and UConn next year.
I'm not sure he's committed yet. No word, anyway. He's a four-star on some pages, so he's no slouch, but L'ville fans may be getting ahead of themselves. Does go to show you what a quality coach can do for even a "basketball school" program in terms of establishing some pride/cockiness. I'm still not sure that L'ville is any better than Northern Illinois personally.
