Per OSU/Adam Widman. I think Roby stays. Diesel/Schutt should be fine. Good luck big man!
Predictions on the d-line for next year? Now that we have to replace everyone?

Just saw this. Good Luck Big Hank!
Damn. :( Can't say we didn't see it coming. Can't blame the kid. Best of luck. Good thing is we have great depth.

Good luck big Hank.
Good luck to Big Hank! He really stepped up this year on the D line. Can't wait to see what he does on the next level.
It's true... We really are a bunch of nuts!
Go Bucks!
I think Schutt, Washington, Sprinkle, Price, Hill, and Munger should all be good to go. These young guys are going to have an opportunity for some great experience.
Good luck to Big Hank tho!
Don't forget Bosa!
Since the article is about Hankins, I think most are concerned with our DTs, and Bosa is not currently expected to spend much time on the inside. Don't worry though, no one is forgetting about Bosa; he's a beast!
Top 15 pick! Good thing we are stacking up these elite defensive lineman. Reload reload
Best of luck Big Hank!

Good luck big man, make us proud in the NFL!
We've got a lot of talent on the dline, but he'll be sorely missed. None of those young guys has the ability (yet) to be as disruptive as he was at his best. The combination of size and quickness is the hard thing to duplicate. We've got guys who have one or the other, but not both. Hopefully another offseason with Marotti will work wonders.
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."
"Diesel/Schutt should be fine."
Is Washington a lock at DT, then? I'd only seen him playing DE when I watched him this year even though I'd heard talk earlier in the year that he was at DT weight. I haven't read any stories on it so I honestly don't know. My assumption was that our DTs would be Bennett (even though he subbed in for Simon at DE during the Michigan game) and Schutt, and that our DEs would be Washington and Spence.
I know Washington can play SSDE as well as DT, I would expect Bennett at SSDE, Schutt/Wasington in the middle, and Spence/Steve Miller on the outside.
Gotcha gotcha. I was just curious if you'd heard anything about who they were looking to start where next year since I hadn't! Only two I was sure on were Spence and Schutt.
To me, Bosa and Washington are the same mould; can play strongside or they can shift inside. Hill could also make an impact, he's quick for a DT.
Good luck Big Hank. Time to step up Diesel!
what is good is that the freshman this year were able to see what it takes to be an NFL first round draft pick (assuming everything goes well at the combine, etc), as well as relentless effort and godliness from Simon. That is invaluable experience for these younger guys. They have an idea of what it takes, and now they will pass it on to the 2013 recruits. I am real excited for the next several years.....
Good luck Big Hank!!! I am rooting for you for life.
I'd also add, one positive thing to keep in mind is that if Big Hank goes in the top 15 or so (which is likely), that's a great recruiting tool for future DTs (not that Urban's having any trouble with that as is). Come to OSU, be a DT and get drafted top 10-15.
Good Luck Hank Thanks for all you've done ....... next year with Mike Bennet, Aldophus, Joe Hale, Shutt, Bosa, Mike Hill, Maybe Munger, Maybe Billy Price I think we are good at DT
Hardly home but always reppin
Steve Miller and Michael Bennett are solid returners that will be upperclassmen. Everyone knows about the freshman and incoming recruits. I am excited to see what Chris Carter can do (assuming he doesn't transfer). Regardless, replacing all 4 starters on the dline means that Vrabel is going to have to earn his keep next year.
last sentence = so true. I got my faith in him.
In a couple more recruiting classes we won't be having these discussions. We will be 2-3 deep and only wishing the departing best of luck in the NFL. NEXT UP......
Good luck to Big Hank! For selfish reasons I was really hoping he would stay and lift that crystal football next year, but can't blame the man for jumping on an opportunity.
Any word on Hyde??? He was rumored to be looking too....really hope him and Roby stay.

As much as I'd love him to stay, he's better off going pro in my opinion. Best of luck!
Class of 2010.
Can't fault not missing out on the money. Roby I think needs one more year to move up in the draft. I think he slips potentially if he doesn't combine well. If he continues his play and comes out next year I think he is a top 15 pick.
I said the same thing about Ashton Youboty, he could have gone higher by staying another year.
Good luck Hank! Make us Buckeyes proud!
I don't get why Hyde would go pro. Right now he is a 4th rd at best. Out of all of the juniors considering he needs one more year. If he has one more productive year he might be a second rd or late first.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
Good luck to Hank! Hope he stays in the NFL for a very long time! Thanks for the memories!
