Since I'm finding it hard to admit the 2012 OSU football season is over I figured the best way to continue to ride the wave is to discuss your top moments for this year. Hands down my favorite moment was the goal line stand against Wisconsin to prevent Ball from setting the new tochdown record. I still get strange looks from my neighbors to this day due to the "Jedi Master Level" expletives I was throwing out that day with my window wide open. My DVR is still set to that play and I watch it almost weekly. Go Bucks!

Kenny playing his smooth jazz late -
nightgame against Purdue, effectively ending Danny Hope's carreer.Guiton's Purdue drive still is No. 1 for me. If Wisky hadn't later tied the game after that Ball fumble I might have vaulted it to No. 1. It was still a heck of a play though.

Both moments you all have mentioned have been great. I also loved Denard getting stuffed on 4th and 3. The Shazier pick 6 against PSU was great, too, especially on a night where he was honoring a friend.
I have to go with Purdue #1 though...I hate them and we got OT payback on those bitches.
Class of 2010.
I can't pick just one!
In chronological order:
Last minute TD pass to win the Cal game. Tone-setting first TD in the MSU game. Shazier's pick-six at PSU. The Montee Ball goaline fumble. Christian Bryant blows up Denard Robinson to cause a fumble. Big Hank blows up Devin Gardner to cause a fumble.
One of the most exciting seasons for me since 2002 or 2006!
EDIT: Actually forgot (somehow) about the Purdue comeback for a second there, you guys are right, that was amazing!
Purdue game for sure. But the single play I'll probably remember is Devins Smith's one handed catch.
Mine is absolutely the goal line stand/fumble to prevent Ball from breaking the record. I had remained quiet the whole game, casually drinking my beer as my girlfriend fell asleep beside me on the couch as she was sick with the dog on her lap asleep as well. The moment I see the ball come loose I burst into an epic soundoff of something along with lines of: "That's what I'm talking about defense!!! Take that you fat badger!! Go cry some more!! Urban 3:16's defense just gave you a stone cold stunner!! Not today Montee Ball!! Not F**king today!!"
Needless to say the girlfriend jumped up screaming what was wrong and what had happened as the dog started barking and going crazy.

^By FAR
I would have hated to have people remember Ball breaking the record against us.
It still blows my mind how good of a play that Wisconsin lineman made, that should've been 6 going the other way for Bryant
Darn badger claws...
But seriously that guy has some strong hands..
Their holding skills came in handy big time there!
I have to agree with the Wisconsin game and Shazier's "flying two fisted fumble haymaker"
This
Edit...
I'll actually never forget standing in the stadium for the Michigan game and seeing Simon in sweats and hobbling across the field. Trying to fight back crying for the guy who put so much into this team and Ohio State over the years.

Purdue. The sweetest comeback I've seen live.

This is easy John Simon getting four sacks against Wisconsin. Close second Carlos Hyde running the ball down TTUN's throat to end the game and go 12 and 0.
It's good to be home.
There are so many. Probably these two are tied currently:
* Running the clock out @ MSU against Dantonio.
* Carlos Hyde turning to the Michigan sideline and mocking Denard's idiotic taunt to their whole team. They had it coming and I love it.
Kenny G, for sure.
I would have to say it was the last game....beating the TSUN, the 2002 National Championship Team being honored, Tress on hand, and Urban taking over the rivalry. It seemed like the old guard handing the baton over to the new one. The past, present and future meeting in the Horseshoe...loved the past, excited about the future
The stutter step.
For me it's when we scored late in the 4th quarter against Purdue, I was sure we were going to lose that one. As more times goes on that Kenny Guiton legendary drive will go on in Buckeye Lore.
Kenny G comeback. Braxton's juke against Penn State at the goal line.
Kerry Coombs dancing to TBDBITL's Buckeye Swag after the game.
Every year we say it's not a good year unless we beat scUM so that win has to be my favorite! A culmination of all the past year's frustration ending with a 12-0, undefeated season!
Purdue. Game wasn't, on AFN, so I watched on gamecast, then when it was tied I run around the ship, going ape sh*t telling other Buckeye fans; then wehn I walked into the Goat Locker, AFN had just put it on for ot...

No matter how sh*tty the tour is, it's always tough to leave.
Also, watching "The Game" in Guantanamo Bay, surrounded by Buckeyes, awesome day...

For me, especially sitting in Block O South, it was AFTER the Purdue game had ended, when everyone was preparing for Carmen Ohio, chanting either Urban, Urban, Urban, or Kenny G, Kenny G. Then all of a sudden Coach Meyer steps up pumping his fists and sending everyone into even more of a frenzy. Just being able to see part of his passion for our/his football team in such a glorious moment was amazing.
Also, I like to view it as ridiculously frightening for any other B1G coach :)
I went to The Game! It was my first Bucks game! I went with my beautiful girlfriend who's mother so graciously gave us her tickets so I could see my first game! Best sports day of my life! I am literally still getting headaches from the amount of screaming I did that day! We rushed the field and were right next to the team singing Carmen Ohio! GO BUCKS!!!
"Lets beat the shit out of Michigan".... Urban. Frank. Meyer.
Kenny G at Purdue and Devin Smiths catch
how do you pick:
braxtons stutter step, devins catch, the purdue game, hyde vs mich, shzr vs wiscy, shzr vs psu, braxton's best one yard run ever, urban after purdue, devin vs cal and michigan state OH WAIT i know...
Best moment was going to the Wisconsin game and hearing the collective silence from fans as they watched OSU escape Camp Randall 11-0.

For me it was the O-LINE being good instead of costing us games!!!

“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
I think it was the game vs Cal when Braxton faked inside and then went outside down the sidelines for a 75 yard td....I loved when Shazier stopped DR in his tracks and when he knocked the ball out of balls hands and when Hyde mocked DR and even tho this wasn't on the field..I loved hearing Urban tell all who attended Earl Bruce's tailgate when he said "let's go beat the shit out of Michigan..........Fired me up!
Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.
This one sums up the season for me.All alone at 12-0
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
Those are some pissed off PSU fans. LOL
For me, there are many great moments, but I gotta go with simply beating scUM. That was our bowl game this year, and it also marked the beginning of a new era in the rivalry.
Not a highlight reel play, but for me it was sitting in Spartan Stadium with my wife watching Carlos Hyde plow through the Michigan State defensive front and pickup the first down for the win. In my opinion that play showed off everything this seasons team was about. Out competing the other team, making plays when it matters, and finishing hard.
I think the purdue game, how we came from behind in the last 47 seconds with Kenny g and beating TTUM stands out. Also the going 12-0 is just a great season and every moment will be cherished for the rest of my life.
I have to say the forced fumble at the goal line late in the Wisky game for favorite memory. My favorite play would have to be the Braxton run against Penn St.
Kenny G's drive against Purdue was pure magic, but Carlos Hyde's F-You to Denard & the tsun sideline literally filled me with happiness & satisfaction the likes of which a football game has not done before...Maybe only 2002 NC comes close.
Lots of great memories to pick from - it was an incredible year!

when boren planted devin gardner on the ground and stood over him
@ Poison Nuts and BuckeyeStu: I generally don't go for the posing and posturing, but Michigan is the exception.
Much as I loved the sweet music from Kenny G, Shazier on Ball, and XBRAX360 v. PSU, I have to go for Boren's sack on Gardner because, well, it was against Michigan. That play brought me out of my seat even though I wasn't able to watch the game live and had kind of a muted "The Game" experience watching it after the fact.
If there is a person here who can choose a "best" play between The Kenny G Miracle, Shazier destroying Montee's hopes and dreams, and Brax going Xbox vs PSU - you are a better man than I.
One great passing QB drive, one great defensive stand, one great individual effort. Not too sure how one can differentiate between the three and find a true stand-out...
Hey 11W staff, how 'bout a year in gifs similar to the game in gifs feature you've been running?
For me it was the punt returns for TDs versus Wisconsin and the Huskers. Reminded me so much of Teddy Ginn and the games when he took them all the way back. Great team, great year. Looking forward to next season.
Taking my youngest son to his first real game. We had been to spring games before, but you all know there is a big difference. Incidentally, he is 1-0 when attending games ; )
1). Kenny G
1a). RDS denying the record at the goal-line
