I'm a steelers fan and I'm happy for the bengals and I would appreciate it if you didn't say squealers because its disrespecting my favorite team and I'm not disrespecting yours thanks
Umm yeah...and while you're at it, please stop calling my team TTUN, TSUN, Meatchicken, Sh*tagain, miss again, beatagain, wolverqueens, scUM, AACC, skunk weasles, etc.

I think the Bengals and Colts are the 2 worst playoff teams in the AFC. Denver,Texans,Pats are the class of the AFC. Nice run Bengals but your not getting past any of those 3 especially at there house.
so your saying the two wild card teams are worse than the division winners? really inciteful
but i do tend to agree the bengals dont have a great chance (even though they are my team), but its the playoffs, anything can happen. the hot teams, such as the bengals, tend to make runs in the playoffs. unfortunately if history repeats itself it will be another dissapointment
If they hadn't choked away games against Pitt, Cleveland, Miami and Dallas they'd have a better seed. All this does is give Marvin Lewis an extra year he doesn't deserve.
With that said, suck it Carson Palmer.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Congrats to the Bengals. They are a young football team thatj's fun to watch and plays with their hair on fire...yes...Andy Dalton's hair is on fire. Love these young players gutting it out, just like our Bucks. Can't wait until Aug. 2013 and another historic undefeated Buckeye season. Now bring on the recruits!!!
It's always great to beat the Steelers! Especially in their own back yard while also eliminating them from the playoffs! The only thing better would be curb stomping Alabama and ending the stupid SEC chants!!!
Hey don't get down on us bengal fans for getting excited about back to back playoff seasons! Of course we are excited! Imagine how happy Indiana football fans would be if they ever made it to the Rose Bowl!
As a Bengals and Buckeyes fan, I feel like I have split personalities. On one hand it feels great just to get int the playoffs back to back seasons and if Cincy does lose in the first round then it would still be considered a good year. But as a Buckeye fan, if my team doesn't win it all I consider that an underachieving year. But it apples and oranges. I bet Northwestern fans might burn their campus down if they ever make the Big Dance
edit. Sorry for the double idea, I didn't read the comment above
Nice job Bengals. I am actually hoping Cincy can make it past the 1st round this year. I'm not a fan by any means, but Dalton and Green were 2 of the best draft picks Cincy has made as far back as I can remember. Mike Brown must not be making decisions over there these days.
I am admittedly a turncoat. As a Cincy native, I to this day find the Bengals the biggest black eye on the face of a city that has had more than its fair share over the years. I officially turned in my stripes after 2010.
But I'm happy for my family who are still diehards. I cannot personally wish that the Bengals find any success, as I define any success they find as validation that Mike Brown knows what he's doing as GM/owner...which simply cannot be true.
Still, congrats to the Bengals and Who-Dey nation. I'm jealous.
I'm there with you! Used to go to Wilmington College to watch training camp every August and invested too much time and money in the post Boomer days. Unfortunately they have soured my appetite NFL football. As long as the Brown family owns them they are dead to me.
It doesn't matter that we're probably not going to make it out of the first round (there's a good chance we won't), what any Bengals fan will tell you is that we seem to FINALLY be on the way up. Two consecutive playoff berths means that the coaching staff is (gasp!) really building something and that (double gasp!) Mike Brown hasn't blown it up yet.
For a fan base that's been waiting ages for this, a young team means a lot; we've gotten rid of the egomaniacs who ruined Palmer's tenure, and finally has a group of guys that are worth rooting for. I'm stoked, not just for the playoffs, but for for the future; it's been too long since many of us could say the same.
21 season without a playoff win. Thats the longest streak in the NFL.
24 years since last divisional championship game. Longest steak in the NFL.
45 years without a superbowl (They were founded 45 years ago) Second longest streak in the NFL.
This year has to be the year! right?
I'm a Buckeye fan who married a Bengal fan so I'm pulling for them. Go Buckeyes....and the Bengals are ok too I guess (only because my wife will kick my ass if I don't cheer for them).
I had a conversation earlier in the year with Hodge about this team and they really have a nice three piece combo in their offensive attack. I was flat wrong on Dalton as he looks to be more game changer than game manager at times. I don't think he's a 40td a year guy but the arrow is pointing up with him. Needs to cut down some INT's, but he appears to be a long term solution at QB. AJ Green-nothing needs to be said here, the best young wideout in football and probably destined for Megatron\Larry\Andre status in 2 or 3 seasons. I also like Jermaine Gresham. I don't know if he'll be in that top tier tight end class with Hernandez\Gronk\Graham but he is a very very good redzone option\matchup problem. I liked him a ton coming out of OU. Cinci fans should be excited. This team is built to be around for a little while and if you add a few more pieces (ideally a second weapon to Green-and no it isn't Dane) they can be trouble.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
you do the Ickey Shuffle yet?
WHO DEY BABY!

Congrats, a mediocre Cincy team beat an under-performing Steelers team. They will still lose in the first round

Block "O" 2012 season
sounds like a browns fan
Worst fans in football. Out in the first round, as always. Won't stop their fans from being their usual insufferable selves.
And DEFINITELY not a Clowns fan.
You're just a bitter Squealers fan.
Congrats to the Bengals on making the playoffs.

I'm with you on this one, I think all the dumb nicknames make us sound 5 years old. You'll never hear me say anythig other than Michigan or UM
Can I say Stoolers?
..... please??
~Because we couldn't go for three~
...let me get this straight, you're calling us insufferable?

wah wah wah wah cry me a river.....or THREE RIVERS LOL. At least the Bengals made the playoffs.

Lewis tried to give the Steelers the game too. That FGA was a terrible idea.
So were those deep (over)throws on 3 and 1 that somehow kept getting called.
yea thats so awesome.... dont the bengals get oaklands 2nd rounder this yr ?
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
Only took 30 years to get back-to-back playoffs but definitely a well earned win tonight!
only if by "well-earned win tonight", you actually meant "hideous game where neither team wanted to win that took place in the middle of daytime."
Congrats to the Bengals. They are a young football team thatj's fun to watch and plays with their hair on fire...yes...Andy Dalton's hair is on fire. It's impossible to type Bengals. And playoffs in the same sentence. Congrats to all Cincy fans!!
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
heres my question. go for it on 4th and 22 from the 32, but then try a 60 yarder with 1.5 min left?

As a Steelers fan all I can do is bite my lip and offer congratulations to the Bengals. They really turned the ship around this year.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
