A number of people are reporting that Golden has emerged as the leader to be the next coach at Wisconsin. Solid hire. I think Peterson would have been better, but Golden is a good coach. This may speak to his expectations regarding NCAA violations at the U that are still pending. Thoughts on Golden as next Wisky coach?

Proof or it isn't true!
Ohio State's band SLAUGHTERED Michigan's band. If this were a football game, it would have been Florida State vs. Savannah State. - SB Nation following OSU vs. UM 2012
This states otherwise.. I'm not sure how reputable this source is though.

Pete Thamel from SI first reported it as a 'rumor' (which is why it's in the headline). Suggested a decision may come today. Sounds like Peterson did not interview for the job, and that Alvarez may be moving on. To be clear, nothing is official.

I think it would be solid. I'm still not sure it would make them much better off than they were before. As much as I dislike Wisconsin I would like for them to hire a coach that can strengthen their program and thus strengthen the B1G.
Would not shock me. I would run like hell from Miami and the sanctions that are coming (presumably before the end of the century), and Wisconsin would benefit greatly from a coach with charisma.
Makes sense, which would be the second chip to fall in my prediction of Bobby Petrino being the Miami Hurricane coach who actually returns them to prominence in 3-5 years. Golden to UW, Petrino grinds it out at WKU, and eventually heads to the U.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
