Found this while looking around. It was posted today. With the Hankins announcement he will be needed to contribute next year and I think he will as a freshman. His brother is shown here too.

My favorite recruit by far! I can't wait for him to tear it up in the S&G!

Great video, excited to see what this kid can do....
With Hank gone along with Simon, Goebel, and Williams, it's looking like Spence, Washington, Schutt, Hale, and Bennett are likely to get the most time. Add in Pittman, Miller, Moore, Bosa, Hill, Price, Sprinkle, Lewis (if not Viper/LB), and possibly Munger, there should be some very talented depth at the position. Still, many of the guys still need to develop.
It's worth also mentioning that two LBs will need to be replaced, so I hope this young front 7 will learn quickly and work hard.
Jamal Marcus could make some waves at Viper, as well--especially on obvious passing downs. If I recall, they recruited him for that Nathan Williams "pass rushing extrordinaire" LB/DE role, as well.
That is a very good point. Speaking of Marcus, if he does move to more of a pass rushing position, then that makes additional depth at LB even more important.

I look forward to getting a Joey Bosa Jersey in a few years.

Isn't Bosa a DE? He isn't going to be the one to fill Big Hank's shoes... It will be Washington, Schutt, Hill, and Sprinkle.
Seeing his dad answers the question of how he is so fit at such a young age. Dadprolly had him in the weight room early, can't imagine he'll fold under Urban's conditioning program.
I think I remember hearing that his dad owns some health food or health products stores (GNC type places) or something.
Bosa is awesome and it's no secret I like him a lot...actually think he is a top 15-20 player nationally...just my opinion...but next year's DL is still very talented without Big Hank so don't expect a true freshman to just come in and kill it...I think he gets minutes a la Spence/Washington/Schutt this year
Couldn't agree more Alex...can't wait to see him with the others...should be an exciting time for OSU defensive line and hopefully defense in general.
Thanks for the video Lou...great stuff.

What best part of the video I heard was ... "Sometimes you have to tell him to get out of the weight room" Sounds like John Simon Jr. Imagine what strength coach Marotti can do with this kid. Exciting to think our 2-deep DL will be Bosa, Washington, Spence, Shutt, Pittman, Hill, Price, Murger, and Carter next year!
Don't forget Bennet. He's basically the only upperclassman
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."
Completely forgot about Bennet! That's how scary and excitingly deep this DL is going to be.
Nick has some work to do by the time his senior year rolls around to be as big as Joey, who looks much larger than his little brother. But three years training and natural growth can do alot at that age. At one time the talk was that Nick might end up being a better player than Joey. Hope he comes to OSU as well.
"He's one of those guys that you have to tell him to get out of the weight room"
Sounds like another DE who is about to graduate a Buckeye Legend.
Bosa looks to be the athletic edge rusher who can drop back and cover a little too. Super excited about this kid.

Although a quick DE, Bosa might eventually become the guy that replaces Hank. Bosa is already pretty big. Remember that Washington came in as a DE too. 17-18 year olds growth is a bit unpredictable. Exciting to see what happens to these guys after some time with Mariotti. That is not to say he'll be filling big Hank's shoes any time soon. As was mentioned earlier, there is a pretty good group of guys at DL.
so glad hes all buckeye... hes my fav recruit.
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
I am VERY excited about Bosa. I actually think he's extremely underrated and like Alex think he's a top 15 player. I think he will definately find himself in the rotation but will not start this upcoming year. I look for him to mature faster than Spence, Washington, or Schutt just due to the fact he consistantly played against better high school competition.
Suddenly I see why Meyer offered the little brother already.
