McCray had some good stops in 2nd half but Twoods dline was getting mauled. Despite constantly having centers & guards in his chest all night, he made key plays when needed.
Don't know his stats yet, but at one point the announcers jokingly said "at this rate he'll have 90 tackles by the time the nights over" ... that announcer was Justin Zwick lol
Tonight will be the last night I root for him though LOL
Anybody else watching notice #45, Chris Green? He's only a soph (class of 2015). He was the best defensive player on either team tonight. Has good size, speed and was unstoppable on the blitz. Hope Urban was watching and took notice.
That was my first time seeing either team. Not to sound like sour grapes, but I thought McCray looked very average. They mentioned that he was a sideline to sideline pursuit guy, but got off the ball rather slow imo. Kind of glad we didn't use that scholarship on him if we end up getting Mitchell and Trey Johnson.
Cam looks bigger than I expected him to, has a good frame. Very fast. Kizer looked pretty good at times, but his accuracy was VERY hot/cold. He overthrew quite a few people. The highlight film that I watched made him look like a 50/50 runner/thrower, I was surprised not to see more runs from him.
Also, Amir Edwards? How does that guy not have B1G offers? Best looking player on the field at times. #8 (James Winchester?) for Trotwood Madison had some jets, as well.
Proud Trotwood Alum says great game to the Proud Toledo Catholic Alumn. Definitely well earned.
Amir for TCC was the surprise of the game to me. Beast. Was also surprised Twood didn't swithc to the more mobile QB sooner. A freshman pocket passing QB against that defensive onslaught - that *** ain't right lol. Is what it is. Great season regardless.
As far as McCray ... he is a good linebacker ... maybe more in the Storm Klein mold maybe. Solid player ... BUT yeah, I don't see that "Shazier" explosion in him I think Urban is recruiting. I could see why the old regime may have been higher on him than the current regime.
I;m a Central Catholic alum and it was a great game on both sides of the ball. Edwards ran over McCray to score his second TD of the game. I hope Urban saw that. edwards doesn't have Hyde's size but he hits holes quick. He's a horse, too. 38 carries in the game and he barely looked tired at the end of the game. McCray will fit in well with the Wolver-weenies. I agree, Motown Buck, McCray doesn't have the Shazier in him, and I hope he never gets it.
There is a conspiracy against him. Every post he gets a bunch of down votes. I think because he started a bunch of threads( like 10 in an hour) and pissed some peeps off.
16-0 TCC with 11:37 left
Thanks.
I heard lost the game. Tcc rb had a 184 rushing. Mcray must had a bad game.0010101010101010!!!

Trotwood-Madison. Once a Ram, Always a Ram.
McCray had 9 tackles at half.
TCC wins 16-12.
Trotwood missed both it's 2pt conversions.
McCray and the TCC running back had great games.
Kizer is surprisingly a great punter
Cam & Jayme never really targeted so relatively quiet. Can't wait for them to play together in S&G :-)

Why is he getting downvoted for saying "thanks"?

Wherever you are, there you be!
I only downvote him when he posts speculative, undocumented crap.
