what becomes of the Big East's remnants?

by 2015, these will currently be the only teams in the conference playing FBS football.

Louisville

Temple

Unconn

South Florida

Cincinnati

After 2015, there will only be 11 members in Big East Basketball, that once numbered 16.

Does the Big East try to add MAC schools to regain a football conference?  Boise St and San Diego St, once slotted to join the Big East in 2013, are probably going back to the Mountain West.  Do Cincinnati, South Florida and Louisville get invited to the Big 12?  Temple go back to the MAC?  UConn to the ACC?  What about UConn and Boston College going to the Big 10 to "Lock down" the North East Coast?

Cincinnati, Louisville, South Florida and Uconn have made alot of effort to build football programs, though not with large fan bases, to just give up trying to be FBS schools.  If those schools leave the Big East to find a Super Conference Home, the Big East will have 7 basketball schools and then become like the Atlantic 10.

This shit is crazy.

The catholic schools leave the big east. These schools are very upset what been going on in the big east for years. There won't be a big east in 4 years.

Louisville has been trying to get in the acc and big 12.  The only way Charlie Strong stays if Louisville joins another conferance.

Uconn and BC c'mon man that's not funny. That would really "water down" the conference

yeah, add, Uconn and B.C. to the Big 10.  We would have NY, Boston, Washington DC, Detroit and Chicago in the territory.  Divisions could be:  Rust Belt and Yankee

I dont see the Big East around much longer.. As for the MAC, they have been getting stronger and dont see them splitting anytime soon.

UConn to ACC, Louisville to Big 12. The rest can go back to Conference USA.

I don't think Galactic Warlord Jim Delaney is done yet. I think he still has his eye on at least two more ACC schools, and when all is said and done, the B.Least will have its carcass picked apart by what's left of the ACC and Big XII.

I see UConn gone to the ACC, Cincinnati and/or Louisville to the ACC or Big XII (if they're lucky), and Temple/SFla relegated to slinking back to C-USA. The remnants of the Big East will probably crumble into a mediocre basketball-only conference.

I really hate to say this as I'm not a big fan of apathy, but who cares?

That said, they probably become the Mountain West, East Division...

After The Ohio State football, I am a huge UC basketball fan. I would love to see them end up in the ACC or Big 12 to get the financial backing that they could provide. The complexes needs upgrades bad.

Had Beetface not left UC for ND, the basketball arena would have become a football practice facility.  The UC basketball team would have moved to the arena downtown after it was renovated.  After Brian Kelly left UC, the requirement for a indoor practice facility (non-bubble type) no longer existed and the plan was scratched.  A simple bubble type practice facility is all Butch Jones gets.
