12-1 was a great year for Franklin County. Final score was 40-27 Cooper. Cooper was the better team. Their strategy was to put 3 around Timmons all night and blitz and rush the QB. Someone was in the face of QB all night. FC began passing only so it got even worst. I do not know the final stat but Timmons got about 140 yards I would guess on about 12 touches. Two of them went for 58 and 35 yd Tds. So he did well against very good competition and a team who obviously had 2 goals. Stop Timmons at all costs and rush the QB hard. Hats off to the Cooper coaches.
I hope I did not annoy or alienate anyone too badly along the way. Thanks to many who had humor and not being to hard on me for my efforts to bring recognition to a ordinary kid who didnt self promote himself in camps in his junior year therefore got started late. This ordinary kid however has extra ordinary talents.
To my Buckeye allies keep Timmons on the radar. If he becomes a Buckeye that will be great. If he doesnt that just means Coach Meyer already has the need Timmons can bring filled and our Buckeyes will be grat next year.

I appreciate your championing of this kid. You certainly opened my eyes to someone I would otherwise not have noticed. He is deserving of being a Buckeye in my mind.

I am going to really miss these updates. Every Friday night I would scan 11W to see how Mr. Timmons fared. Thank you very much, Waycraken. You have made a believer of him out of many people on here. I'm sure if he knew your campaigning he would appreciate it as well.

I really hope this isn't your last Timmons post. I'm really hoping your next Timmons post will be titled Timmons gets his much deserved offer which will hopefully be followed up with a grey box. I will really be bummed if he doesn't end up a buckeye. I have been following recruiting hardcore since 2001 and I've never wanted a "borderline" kid to get offered this bad. I think this would be and Isaiah Pead type of miss only much worse.

FC offensive coordinator told my buddy he would be there. I called bs. He called the FC offensive coordinator to verify that Urban had confirmed his travel plans. The guy said yes. I can only think either 1. He was there incognito, 2. He changed plans at the last minute. I played under the FC head coach, so I'll text him and post any news on the Timmons thread if I get anything.

If ryan doesnt get a buckeye offer.It will be the travasty of the season.I have seen this kid up close live.He has everything we dont have on the team now.I would take him over any reciver out there bar none. Im so tired of people saying oh he doesn't play against anyone.Bullshit no matter who your are playing you still have 11guys you have to beat to score. And he did it all year knowing everyone of those 11guys was gunning for him . He is just wainting to be a buckeye. You know, people can harp on the competition all they want, but fact is, Cooper was the best defensive team in the state not named Trinity. The kid still had over 100 yards and 2 very long TD's. Cooper had 1 loss this year. It was to Conner on a night that Barker went off.
What's incredible to me is, Cooper has only been open for 3 or 4 years. It's a brand new school and they are already on the cusp of winning a state title. Before the opened it a chunk of their kids would of gone to Conner. Put some of those good defenders on Conner and you have a nationally ranked team.
I completely followed this kid based on your updates, Waycraken and, in fact, was laughing with a co-worker about his crazy stats just yesterday. No need to apologize or explain. The best news is that this kid will be fun to watch over the next four years (at least), whether he's in S&G or somebody else's uni.

I applaud your Enthusiasm in the quest to get an exciting young athlete in a GREAT program. If it were me this young man would be a Buckeye and you would be a college scout.. Glad you could keep us up to date on every thing Waycracken... Sometimes it's the under the radar guys that end up killing it when they get the opportunity (anyone remember 2* guy named Le'Veon Bell?). Hope things fall Timmons' way and he becomes a Buckeye... if not, hope he does well, as long as it's not against our Bucks.
