Near the end of the broadcast of The Game, right after Urban's post-game interview on the field, he walks through the crowd with a police escort. At some point, he tells the police to let in a big guy wearing some OSU gear. The guy could have been a former player (maybe from '02 team) but I wonder if it was a recruit anyone else recognizes. It's interesting to me, because the recruit is about to walk in front of Urban, presumably on their way to the locker room, and then Urban stops him, puts his arm around him and soaks up the scene on the field as they camera pulls away. I wonder if it was a recruit, and this was Urban saying, "Imagine what this will be like when you're here next year, and we're on our way to the National Championshp game!"
Urban has the cops let the guy in at 1:03:41 in this video. I'd take a screen grab, but I'm at work, gotta look like I'm doing something! It also seems like it'll be hard to get a good view of the guy. I figured some of the recruiting fans on here may have eagle eyes though.

Also, doesn't it seem messed up that the ABC crew made Boren miss his final Carmen Ohio for an interview? Once in a lifetime chance. I'm sure Boren was just too nice to mention it, and they said they needed it at that exact moment. Still nice for him to get some national love.

as of right now, this is my only guess. I will continue to research who this is. because I think it is odd, how Meyer tells 1 person to come join him out of all the people at the game. Meyer points him out in the ppl around him, & tells him to come beside him. its odd.

Oh, that looks like Cam Burrows to me. But I'm only like 75% in certainty.
i thought same thing. but the kids face & body is to pudgy to be Cam Burrows. I looked at several Burrows photos & this guys face is just to fatty to be Burrows. Looks like this kid is heavier set. could just be because it was cold so more coats and jackets. but who knows. the face to me is just what can tell them apart.

Also, Cam was one of our first recruits for this coming class and was at darn near every OSU game this year. He's probably best buds with Urban.
It kind of looks like Josh Harris who was Urban's first quarterback at BG. I don't think he is in the NFL anymore. Here is a picture and a link.

well thats all true so i wont say your wrong.
but the more ithought about it being Josh McNeil, the more evidence i found. McNeil once was about to commit to OSU & was longtime considered to be the TE in this class, before Baugh commited.
But then I also remember reading several threads on here, that the 11W staff was suspecting a current recruit that is commited elsewhere that was also highly recruited by OSU to actually be in this '13 class. they said the kid played on the offensive side of the ball.
Well like I said, McNeil was once considered a lock for this class, he is currently commited to Bama, & plays on the offensive side of the ball. & he looks like the kid in the photo.
this is just all my opinion but with my evidence.

I'm pretty sure, not 100% positive, that that is Ryan Stamper who played for Urban and Florida and now works with the team in a player development capacity.

It might be Josh Harris-if I recall, he now lives in the Columbus area. (My dad knew him when he was at BGSU.) I think he was there for the press conference when Urban first was introduced as the OSU head coach. Plus, doesnt look like the guy has on those game day passes/lanyards that all the recruits seem to have on. Or it might be Josh Stamper.

i was down on the field and saw this gentleman as he was walking up around the red tunnel to leave the field. Too old to be a recruit and I heard a gentleman call him Josh and give him a hug!! I would say 98% sure its Josh Harris

I saw Zeke Elliott on the field in the melee and he seemed stoked out of his mind. He just had a big grin and his eyes were soaking in absolutely everything around him. Told him I can't wait to see him on the field doing this again next year!

The funny thing is The two pics of guessing who it is looks absolutely nothing alike! If anyone thinks that is a recruit I would highly suspect this person to have a grades problem because it took him until he was 26 years or so to graduate. This is funny because he does look more like Joe the Policeman.
I was just watching The Game on DVR. This same dude was next to Shazier during the pregame when the #5 from Michigan take a shot at his head. They even slow it down on ABC to show it and that same guy is right there.
That's because Stamper is a member of the staff and a former LB for Meyer. Makes sense that he would be talking to the LBs
