Rough game and by no means perfect, but at least the defense stepped up and bailed us out today. The offense sputtered and I won't get into that (I'm sure enough people will) but I am thankful to see the D getting better overall - especially with all of hte early season hate and calling for Fickell's head. However, I am a lot more scared heading into the THE GAME, but at least it's home and I can't see us being this flat for that one. Maybe we were looking ahead a bit?

Yep. I was still amazed by the people saying "Fire Fickell" in the liveblog after Wiscy scored that touchdown (it was only 2 or 3 people though). This and the Purdue game were both won by the defense. They're still not a typical Silver Bullets, but they're not nearly as bad as everyone says they are.
Michigan honestly scares me a lot more if Denard plays. I think our players will be extremely hyped up for Senior Day against TTUN though. They'll be ready.
No doubt about it, if the offense had made any plays it would have been a big time win.
