This is for OSUFORLIFE..and most people think im going to hammer him right? wrong. I know I havent been the most supportive of his posts, in fact Ive been one of his bigger critics. But I got to thinking, and I think a good compromise is to do what Gene does with his quick Bits (insert date here). Call it Rumor Mill (date) or something like that. There is no doubt the guy goes through a lot of work to bring all of the rumors and rumblings around the web to us. And since most of us are annoyed at how he posts them, this would solve the problem of not clogging up the forum feed.
I know how much everyone appreciates the work Gene does, because I cant even imagine trying to gather up all that info. So, maybe this would bring the same type of respect to OSUFORLIFE.
Also, this serves as my public apology to you, OSUFORLIFE, I hope you see this.
There is a "Site Stuff" forum for suggestions, just a heads up!
Edit: by the way, I like the idea. I know the 247 boards now has a specific "247Rumors" where only mods can make threads but anyone else can post on them, and I like that idea. Maybe a sticker threshold? Although as a web designer, that may be difficult to code into Drupal.
