Just wondering about student tickets and using student ID's to get into the game. Is this a common practice? Would I have any trouble getting in? I have an opportunity to go to The Game this weekend (cross that off the bucket list), and I don't want there to be any problems. Also is there any thing special that goes on Saturday morning this week that you guys think is can't miss? Thanks.

You won't have any issues. You just flash the ID with the ticket. Anyone can use a student ID without a problem. Good luck, enjoy THE game!

Just have an ID it doesnt need to be your ID. I have gotten checked for mine every game this year.

Thanks guys! We have ID's being loaned to us. I've been to a couple of games, but have never used student tickets before. Just looking for some reassurance. I've also never been to The Game, so I am obviously going crazy now waiting on Saturday to be here!

I'm going to go ahead and date myself, but wasn't it a Happy Days episode when they got some fake ID's and one of them got an ID of a middle aged black woman? For some reason that just popped in my head and I started smiling.

BTW, I hope that doesn't happen to you.

Get to your seats early enough for all the pre-game stuff for the seniors and script Ohio

I would imagine skull session will be absolutely CRAZY insane on Saturday. The roof of St. John Arena should blow off the building from the sheer intensity, love and emotion inside.

Also heard that the team will be walking over from Fawcett- do they normally do that? If so, I hope the route from Fawcett is filled with OSU fans cheering them on.

I bought a student ticket off ebay the night before the Penn State game in 06. The next day I stopped by the kids house to pick it up along with his ID. Turns out he was a student from Korea who obviously had a korean name. I showed the ID at the gate and the lady just looked at me and smiled.
