Will 2 of ND, KState, or Oregon stay undefeated and keep the SEC from being represented in the NC game? I wouldn't mind seeing Oregon and KState play but it would be nice to see someone knock off LSU or Alabama in the NC Game just to shut up the South.

I definitely see Oregon and Kansas State winning out
Notre Dame is likely too. I don't see how Alabama can possibly sneak back in the picture without being ridiculously lucky
I hope it's KState/Oregon... because I hate the SEC and I hate Notre Dame... largely for the same 'we deserve this' attitude.
Lotta football left.
Bama, Georgia, and Florida are not out of it yet.
Oregon could lose to Oregon State (write down that I said that, please- calling it now)
Notre Dame may very well lose to USC.
Lotsa football left. sEC champ could still get in.
"But, but, the SEC is the greatest. And, and, Alabama can beat a pro team. Didn't y'all hear what they said on CBS? Alabama's still going to the MNC!" Said the SEC fan.
If two teams are still unbeaten at the end of the year and a SEC team still makes it, I will never watch football again! (not really but you know what I mean)
I'm personally hoping for KState vs. Notre Dame. I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to see the inevitable 48-45 game that KSU vs. Oregon would end up being. I like at least a little bit of defense.
What will ESPN do without an SEC team to hype leading up to the BCS Championship game? They just might self-destruct hahah.
If at least 2 teams (obviously) remain undefeated, I don't think an SEC team will be able to sneak back in, even the vaunted Tide.
Oregon is The most entertaining ND is the most watched team in America. You know who the networks prefer
I hopes the big question will be, which 2 undefeated teams get to play for the title? Not, Who gets to play a 1 loss Bama team for the title?
O H I O is the Buckeye State
Florida is out try on thin ice. Georgia will play in the sec championship.
It has to be K-State and Oregon going undefeated. I don't think ND will surpass a 1 loss 'Bama or Georgia.

Root for Georgia to win the SEC east but lose to Georgia Tech. Then beat Bama in the champ game. That would leave a one loss Florida as the only one loss SEC team and they wouldn't have played in the conference championship. Not a guarantee, but likely no SEC team in the final.
The 2013 National Title doesn't count because we(SEC) aren't in it; SEC SEC SEC - SEC fans.
You tell the SEC when they can learn to read and write, then they can figure out what we're doing. - Gordon Gee
I am hoping for a K-State-Notre Dame national title game!
Run_Fido's favorite word is strawman.
XTREMEBUCKEYE hit it on the head. Two of these teams need to win out because Bama goes right to the front of the one-loss teams and will have an SEC championship game to solidify that and thousands, literally thousands, of TV personalities ready to go to bat for them. They would be almost impossible to keep out of the game if two of ND, KSU, or Oregon lose.
I wonder if Notre Dame not playing in a conference championship will hurt them with the computers...the SEC champ will gain points and Notre Dame will not. if we see anything but two undefeated squads, I'll be boycotting. I can just hear the bs lobbying already from our southern friends. I couldn't imagine that outcry from Notre Dame if Bama makes it in, should ND win out of course
Wont hurt them much, k-state doesn't play one either
Florida is absolutely out of it now. Georgia or Bama have a shot, but a 1 loss K-State, Oregon, or Notre Dame get the nod over Florida. I do think Notre Dame loses to USC. Oregon could lose one or 2 games as well. They are going to play USC who gave them quite a game already.
I think it's going to be K-State and the winner of Bama/Georgia.
I'm pretty sure BAMA isn't falling below #2 because S-E-C! S-E-C! S-E-C!
No one loss will jump any undefeated team. All you have to do is look at the numbers in the BCS standings to understand that. The drop from #4 ND to one loss #5 UGA is huge in last weeks rankings. Bama will need two of the three to get a loss.
As possible as it is for Oregon to lose they just wear defenses down. They score fast and are hard to keep up with. They can be beat but I dont think it will happen.
K State should go undefeated too. That team is playing some great football and just keep rolling.
ND just wins ugly. They play some gritty football. Alot of people on these boards were saying that Oklahoma was going to expose them and then they prevailed. They seem to be playing down to terrible teams and rising to the occasion with good teams. Im not gonna pick agaisnt them.
And Bama is not a lock to win the SEC championship game. They have shown 2 weeks straight they have a hard time with a team that can pass the ball. Well UGA is pretty good and throwing the football so that could pose some problems for them. Bama can also be run on too and UGA has some pretty good physical runners as well. Bama is no guarantee for the SEC championship by any means.
Agree with BHardy ... undefeated teams over 'Bama for NC game and 'Bama front of the line for 1 loss teams.
USC is the most talented, worst coached team in America and will knock out NDame & Oregon in successive weeks, so I am predicting 'Bama beating K-State 28-3 in NCS.
I can't see how Florida can be in anyone's conversation after their performances the last two weeks. And in all scenarios that I'm rooting for, it has to do with my Buckeye fandom... I'm rooting for K.State vs. Oregon because: 1. There is very little recruiting competition between those two teams and the Bucks. Notre Dame is a big regional recruiting competitor, and when they do poorly, talent will likely look at us instead. Oregon goes after the same speed guys we want, but being 3000 miles away can be a challenge. 2. There is less chance for a repeat scenario for the '13 championship. K. State will be without their dynamic quarterback who is making this all possible, and if there's a perception of conference weakness, the Big 10 and Pac 12 are not that different (who here realizes almost every Pac 12 team other than Oregon will finish w/ 3 losses or more if Oregon wins out?).
How your token SEC Fan feels about their title hopes right now:
"I'm One Bad Buckeye, and I approve this message."
I am hoping that I won't have to hear an SEC chant during the BCS championship this year. If that still happens, and I actually think it will, let the record reflect that I prefer our genetic diversity over the SEC's championships.
At least we won't see an all SEC championship! I would love to see a K State or Oregon beat the SEC and shut them up, but I would also be content with no SEC team making it in. Like others said though - that won't change those crazy fans and their superiority to all others attitude.
If there is only one undefeated, alabama will be in the NC assuming they win out (not guaranteed). I wouldnt mind that because it moves all the other S-EZ teams up a bowl spot, meaning they play tougher competition and thus exposing weaknesses that playing each other does not show. I hate the rankings circle jerk that sec play is.
also, remember how young bama is. I hate to say it, but those players arent going anywhere and neither is that team. But you see the blueprint to beat them. Make the QB throw the ball with pressure. IF ONLY THERE WERE SOME TEAM THAT WAS STOCKPILING D LINE TALENT TO BRING QB PRESSURE LIKE NONE OTHER!!! wink wink. #2013-14
Florida still has to play Flordia State
I just have this uneasy feeling that an SEC team sneaks in.
Living in the south I'd love nothing more than to see a national title game without a SEC team in it... Last year I didn't even watch the title game because I don't believe you should be able to play for a title if you don't win your conference championship.
The only way an SEC team makes the NC game is by two of the undefeated teams losing. There is no mathematical way for them to get in other than that. Any uneasy feeling that anyone has, all you need to do is look at the numbers. Look at how far of a jump in the numbers ND is from Bama. Its a really big gap between the two. The only thing that helps an SEC team in the big game is two teams losing and that is it.
I think USC will beat Notre Dame. I think Oregon could lose too. K-State has 2 tough games left, but I think they end up undefeated. I wouldn't be shocked to see Bama/Georgia in the title game against K-State. I'd love to watch K-State Bama though. K-State plays so fundamentally good on both sides of the ball that I think they could beat Bama convincingly. Klein can run and throw well and doesn't make mistakes. The K-State defense is much better than A&M's, and they don't miss tackles. I think they'd frustrate that Bama offense and could move the ball on their D.
K state IMO is the best team in CFB. Do they have the best defense in the nation? No. But they have a tough defense that can go up against any offense you put in front of them. Klein can throw the ball and has playmakers at WR and they can run physical. LSU and A&M exploited to the world all the weakness of this team. The only problem is Bama does not have the right pieces in place to fix the problem. Even if oregon and ND lose and an SEC team gets in, I dont think they win.
I agree completely Bhardy. K-State is very good on both sides of the ball and they are extremely well coached. I'm really pulling for them to win it all. Snyder has been a hell of a coach for a long long time and it would be quite an accomplishment for him to win a title before walking away for good.
I also LOVE how Snyder treats the sideline reporters at halftime and after games. His answers are awesome.
I guess I need to watch a K. State game. I have tried a few times but they seem boring to me. I will say though, I sure did enjoy watching A&M go up 20-0 in the first half against Bama.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
It was fun watching them play TCU but once you seen them put a TD on the board against them, you knew it was all down hill from there. And the pressure that defense puts on the QB is crazy. They have a pretty stout D line. Very hard to contain.
Florida loses to Florida St. by 17 points.
