That is a WIDE stripe on the helmet. Looks good though! The only part I'm mildly disappointed in is they added they stitched "VEE" nonsense on the neck that they seem to be doing for everyone (college and pro) this year. If you like it, fine, but its just not my cup-o-tea.
Edit: the neck is not my cup-o-tea i mean, the uni as a whole looks great!

Love them. Im sure it has been said on here but I couldnt figure out why our unis wouldnt be a salute to the '02 team since they will be on hand. makes perfect sense. And if Im not mistaken, I think that is the similiar pose and retro type unis in a pic that was above UFM shoulder during all-access.....
Follow up question: If they sell these jerseys in the store, what numbers do you think they offer/would you want to buy? I would love to get a #16 Krenzel jersey, but could also see them offering a #2, #25, #12, or #7. Think they would sell a #13?

@O-H KEE PA - That looks like a Nike ad showing in the OSU pro shop. I'm betting that Nike (rightly) knows that only hardcore fans are going to notice this; and though the blogosphere will catch on, most fans won't notice or won't connect the dots until they're really revealed during the Michigan game.

I want old school, big Buckeye Leaves, like from the seventies, to match that thicker stripe.
in summary: bigger tv numbers, thicker stripe on the helmet, grey outline in the main numbers, truncated pant stripe, modified gray shoulder stripe, black facemasks.
not crazy about the SUPER thick helmet stripe or the black facemask, but, all in all, not bad.
i like the gray trim around the numbers. It's a nice subtle touch. I also wouldn't be too upset if these became the standard uniform moving forward.

Wow. If this is the real thing then these are the best ones yet. They dont really look like a reference to 2002 though. They really just seem to emphasize the buckeye stripe and have a futuristic touch. I think what makes this better than the rest is that they didnt go overboard with the design.
Does that helmet look standard, chrome or matte to everyone else? It's not completely clear, but I'm getting a matte vibe!

chrome is great for kitchen appliances...thats about it though...glad to see the helmets look grey
just a wild guess based on the shirts that are already available... The helmets with be chrome and there will be buckeye leaves in a dark grey finish within the chrome or vice versa, helmet will be a dark matte grey and there will be chrome buckeye leaves. (Everyone's helmet will have these leaves because they won't be stickers.) Either way, I'm especially pumped to see it!

I get Nikestore tweets via text and they released some "Rivalry" gear (hat, couple shirts and a hoody) today to go along with the uniform theme. Seems like all of the aforementioned gear has 7 buckeye leaves (7 national championships) somewhere on each item. Pretty cool touch imo. Nike makes the dopest stuff!

To be honest. When I zoom in on my phone I am seeing an exact pattern replica of what is on the legs. Black white red white black. Someone else on their iPhone zoom and confirm

@BOLT the stripes on the sleeves dont look like the old kind. They look like the stripe we have now just thicker.
Based on the shirts being sold I am almost positive it is a chrome helmet. I wouldnt be suprised if the gray outlining on the numbers was chrome too.

I like it overall, but was never a huge fan of chrome helmets. I thought the unis for the Wisconsin game last year were hideous :( (not to mention, looked exactly like refurbished Georgia uniforms from the BSU game).
