Florida State commitment still interested in Clemson (go upstate)
ATH Jacob McCrary of Miami committed to Florida State last July but has not shut down his recruiting. In fact, he remains very interested in Clemson. "Clemson was the first school to offer me and I'm very excited about Clemson and I like them a lot," McCrary said. "I"m very interested in other schools but I'm keeping them high on my list. I talk to Jeff Scott every week. They are recruiting me as a slot receiver and I like the offense. They have a great coaching staff." Clemson is second on the list to Florida State right now and he plans to visit Clemson unofficially in January. He plans to go to Florida State for the Florida game. McCrary said he will take his official visits next fall and make a final announcement at the 2014 Under Armour Game. He also has offers from Florida, Kansas State, Louisville, Marshall, Ole Miss, South Florida, UCLA, Notre Dame, Boise State and Ohio State. This season McCrary 12 catches for 311 yards and 7 touchdowns. He also plays cornerback and had 35 tackles with one interception.
Gareon Conley to visit Oregon, Ohio State (saturday blitz)
Michigan verbal commitment Gareon Conley (Massillon, Oh./Washington) stated Saturday that he will visit Ohio State and Oregon.
“I’m going to do it,” he told ESPN. “It’s still Oregon and Ohio State.”
As Wolverines fans know, players are not allowed to visit other schools after committing to Michigan. Any player who breaks that rule has their scholarship revoked. Expect Conley to lose his offer when he steps onto one of those campuses.
The 6-foot-1, 165-pound cornerback has flirted with this idea for a month, but now has officially confirmed the decision to visit other schools.
Conley’s high school team is still in the playoffs and he will not visit any schools until the season is over. He is expected to take visits this winter.
He has offers from Marshall, Northwestern and Ohio State. Oregon has not offered him yet.
He committed to Michigan Mar. 10.
Boarding House: Monday Edition (247sports)
Sayonara Sebastian? … The Buckeyes have decided not to bring in USC wide receiver commitment Sebastian LaRue (Santa Monica, Calif./Santa Monica) for an official visit. LaRue was planning to visit Ohio State the weekend of Nov. 24 for the Michigan game. However, LaRue called Urban Meyer close to two weeks ago and then spoke to Tom Herman last week and was told the Ohio State visit later this month is off. The OSU coaches did not close the door completely, but at least for now the visit has not been rescheduled for a later date.
Has OSU staff moved on from LaRue?
LaRue finishes up an official visit to Washington State today. He is also talking about possibly taking visits to Notre Dame and/or Texas A&M. LaRue says he would still make an official visit to Ohio State if the Buckeye coaches want him to. But at least for now it looks like the OSU staff has moved on.

Thanks Gene!
Interesting bit about LaRue, perhaps Jimmy Quick, Mr. Gibson, and Conley are becoming more and more likely?
^^^ one can only hope... Real excited to see how this all shakes out.
Or the staff is leaning towards a Timmons offer?
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
That was my initial thought too Triv. Timmons may be right there now.
Mebbe I'm weird.... ok, I AM weird, but none the less... I kinda prefer to just wait & see what we end up with. But, if the staff wants to take a pass, then good... as I'm sure they know the situation intimately better than we do.
Now for your viewing pleasure... jiggly bits!
My gut reaction after reading the LaRue news was the staff will likely be offering Timmons.
It means one of two things:
A. Staff feels really good about 1 or 2 of Quick, Stevens, North
B. Staff is ready to offer Timmons
Like I said, I personally think and hope that it's B. Wouldnt mind landing a few guys from situation A though. As much as I want Timmons to be a buckeye I'd take North first, as he is more of the outside threat that OSU doesn't really have other than Michael Thomas
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
More room for Quick then
I feel the staff just saw LaRue was coming for a vacation with not the same mutual interest that OSU had in him. The staff doesn't wanna waste money on a recruit that is not serious about the program. The kids all USC

Saw '15 RB Jordan Scarlett play in a game earlier this year on TV, and he was very talented.
I don't see us taking Timmons in this class. I mean I wouldn't mind him ending up in the class, but we already have 2 recievers (counting Marshall) committed and I think the staff will want 1 or 2 more, and probably ones who can come in and play right away given that we already have a bunch of scholarship recievers on the team, and who are all young players. I would think the staff would take Gibson, just because he's local and a good player if and when he gets his grades in order and one, or they'll maybe take 2 WRs, with the other being out of the following Quick/North/Stringfellow/Stevens/ and who knows, Foster? W/ Timmons and Elder being after all of them.
If we get Gibson and Quick lets say, that'll will leave us with anywhere between 4-6 scholarships left. With hopefully LB Mitchell and Moore or maybe Johnson or some other LB coming in, and I'm sure the staff really wants to land both OL Johnson and Dawson, but even if we get one of those players and 2 LBs that will leave us with somewhere between 1-3 scholarships left (we're thinking 25 players will fit in this class, but ESPN thinks only 23) so if we have 1 potential scholarship left and player to take, it better be Bell. If 3 are left... Bell, Coonley or Worely, and Munger which it sounds like the staff really wants. I just don't see Timmons being in this class unless we miss out on a lot of guys.
is the Stringfellow visit really going to happen? I remember when he was an OSU target back in the Spring/Summer. Seems like a really good WR. Alex's mystery flip player perhaps? Doubtful but he'd be a nice addition if the interest is legitimate.
Champions Bleed Scarlet & Gray
Stringfellow isn't a guy that just decided on a whim to visit for The Game, like LaRue. He claimed OSU and ND were his final two before his surprise commitment, and since Washington isn't very good, the chance is always there to snatch him away
Perhaps they would look at Timmons as a "return specialist" that could also be an additional WR down the line. The kid is shifty and starting at the 40 or better after receiving a kickoff wouldn't be too shabby.
One thing I still can't seem to wrap my arms around is telling Derrick Green we were moving on because of class space. Back then, that seemed to be an issue. Now it looks like we have all these new spots. Wouldn't the staff try to keep him interested, knowing he wouldn't commit soon anyway. On the chance we did have room? I mean, with Hyde, we have all but proved a power back can thrive in this hybrid spread. Or was there more to it? On top of letting him visit Michigan in our place. Just still seems weird....
Nothing else to report, post is a final
Maybe Stringfellow is Alex's mystery flip?! We shall see!
I won't be surprised if Urban flips a linebacker.
Ohio State needs to talk to Jalen. Ramsey wr out of Nashville tn area. A USC commit there talk he could decomit.
The "before" and "after" snaphsots of Southern Cal, from August to now, are starting to become more and more like those pictures they post of meth-heads. Shit is falling apart. With NSD so far away, how much more attrition does everyone see in Kiffin's class? At one point, it was a borderline legendary intake of talent.
Also, what's happening with Peterson? I haven't heard much since the season began. Seems like he'll be nice add for somebody, though it looks almost certain that we take a pass.
@OSUFORLIFE
Everything I've heard is if Ramsey decommits he is Bama's to lose. It's not a done deal yet, but I've read a few places saying its most likely Bama or USC
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
