Add Notre Dame to Crete-Monee senior receiver Laquon Treadwell's list of final schools that also includes Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Mississippi, Michigan and Michigan State.
The Fighting Irish could get an official visit from Treadwell, who has put his recruiting process on hold during the Warriors' playoff run. Treadwell plans to make "for sure" official visits to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Mississippi, and likely will make his final two visits among the three remaining schools.
Florida offers De La Salle's Jones: De La Salle junior offensive tackle Jamarco Jones (6-foot-5, 285 pounds) recently added an offer from Florida.
"I'm very excited about it," Jones said. "They are a great school, athletically and academically. They have won multiple national championships and they are also playing great so far this year."
Jones plans to make an unofficial visit to Florida for its spring game and will make an unofficial visit to Ohio State this weekend.
Bolingbrook's Westphal to visit Michigan: Bolingbrook junior defensive back Parrker Westphal made a recent unofficial visit to Michigan. Westphal, who has offers from several top schools, also has heard from LSU, Georgia, Miami (Fla.), Tennessee, Washington and North Carolina State.
Neuqua's Rhattigan thinking Ivy, service academies: Neuqua Valley senior running back Joey Rhattigan has been having an All-State-caliber season for the Wildcats, who will host Mount Carmel on Saturday in a Class 8A semifinal. Rhattigan has been in touch with several Ivy League schools, including Princeton and Harvard. Rhattigan also is considering both Army and Navy.
Rhattigan's teammate, senior offensive tackle Andrew Geers (6-7, 275) also is having an impressive season. Geers still keeps in touch with Wisconsin and Vanderbilt and is receiving interest from Illinois State, Eastern Illinois and Western Illinois.
Extra point: Proviso West senior defensive back Jameer Thurman recently added an offer from North Dakota. He also has been talking with Illinois and Kansas and might make official visits to Western Illinois and Southern Illinois soon.

Personally I would rather have R.Timmons than S.Gibson .I also like Worley a lot ,very good playmaker
I'll take Gibson at this point. I want a true wide receiver over a hybrid RB type.
Idk I think Timmons is dynamic and can make things happen with the ball in his hand .. Gibson is good don't get me wrong but Idk think he has that umph ..
Id rather have Timmons and Gibson w/o Quick being in this class. Speed over size any day of the week. Gibson would be used on the outside anyway
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog
@DVal That's all fine and good, but they don't really play the same position.
Id rather have Gibson over Timmons with or without Quick because of the size. According to both Rivals profiles, Gibson is a good 3 inches taller than Timmons. While Timmons might be shiftier, with Marshall and Jacobs already in the fold, a shiftier guy is just another guy where someone a little taller can be fast and be used in multiple positions.
Gibson was the first offer of 2013 wasn't he? I am pretty sure the staff likes what they see in him.
Also, I think Quick is a talent you take no matter what.
Who is Dareon Conley lol
@Buck Aw yeah I know
I hope we go to 23- not 25 this year. Save a couple scholarships for 2014.
18. Mitchell 19. Quick 20. Dawson 21. Johnson 22. Bell 23. Auston Johnson (LB)
The South will NOT rise again!
I really like.buckeye battle cry finish wed def be top 5 maybe top 3 with that finish
O'Deez330
stark county football
I would rather have 25 Sophmores and 14 Freshmen. Then the following year you are back to 25 each year. 2013 class is big in numbers. Just need to get the right 14 with early recruiting next year.
Quick or Gibson with Timmons for WR. Timmons has the frame to build on to and I could only imagine how much more he could do with the Strength and Conditioning coach. He already has the weight for his frame and hasnt slowed down. The others will have to put on 15 pounds to grow some shoulders. Hope they do not slow down like many college players do when they gain the needed weight.
Is Conley the "flip" that Alex has been talking about?? :o)
@SMJ, Gareon Conley is the TSUN commit who is visiting. WR/CB with good speed and good hands. I think the kid is just starting to come into his own. Tons of upside IMO.
