Browny: College Traditions has the stuff for sale. Not sure why it says discontinued because the stuff is definitely on sale.
I would assume they are waiting to put it for sale on the OhioStateBuckeyes.com website until after the Rivarly/Faster/Pro-Combat announcement.
I think OSU is having a hard time internally deciding whether to keep it under wraps a bit longer or put it out and make money. That is why there is all this discrepancy. Hopefully the 11W staff can help us out when the dust settles a bit.
Im having a hard time finding the Nike Ohio State Buckeyes 2012 Rivalry CPRS T-Shirt - Black.... (leaf) it seems to be discontinued?? Any help would be awesome
I think you're right Rdubs. I found it somewhat interesting that a day after they put up the banner showcasing the new jersey, it's already been pulled in favor of a generic Nike seasonal banner. All I know is I should be getting the helmet tee in the mail tomorrow. Love this year's line.
DSAVOCA: just go to the College Traditions website or the Nike store (search ohio state). It's all there and for sale.
They aren't listed on the OSU website "publicly", I did some advanced searches based on time uploaded. The reason it says "Discountinued" is because they haven't listed it for sale yet on the OSU website; it's listed on College Traditions and Nike.
I love that this is the last image Wolverines will remember after meeting Carlos Hyde's stiff arm. Go Buckeyes.

What i'm really looking for is a replacement to the 2011 pro combat. my dog kinda got ahold of it and my collection would not be complete with a chewed up jersey. i have literally scoured the internet and would be completely impressed if someone could help me out.

No matter how sh*tty the tour is, it's always tough to leave.
I don't think they've ever had the gloves for sale to the general public have they? I know my buddy searched for the pair last year all over the place and could only find an absurdly priced 'game worn' pair.

Nike.com sells them, but they sell out in less than a few hours. So its all about timing, otherwise you will have to look on ebay and whatnot. I know a few other sites like footballfanatics.com had some last year as well, but also sold out in just hours.

I like most of the Pro Combat uniforms we have done, though not a big fan of last year's version. These uniforms look pretty sweet. And if the players and recruits like them, I am all for it.
In the end, perhaps the most important thing is that we are undefeated in pro combat uniforms!
They had the gloves at B&N last year but they're like $70 or something outrageous.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Did anyone else notice they removed the field goal posts and the flag pole?

It's exciting to think of all the big name recruits who will be at the game when we wear those uniforms. Just imagine the recruiting pull we can make if we finish undefeated in those awesome uniforms, and the crowd storms the field after the big win. After that, I could see just about every big name recruit at that game giving verbals to OSU.

Here is what they used/completely changed for the ad....

Rabinowitz is reporting "Ohio State will wear special Nike uniforms similar to that worn by 1968 Nat'l Champs. Will include numbers on shoulder pads, uniforms will have 7 Buckeye leaves along back collar and block "O" on front collar. Will use "dull chrome" helmet with wider stripes"
The helmet stripe in 68 was wider, not that wide but a little. If the jerseys are anything like the ones in the picture, they really dont resemble the '68 jerseys too much at all. Curious when we will get a look.

That is a very cheap looking alternative, I like the chrome on the "REAL" helmets. They may not have replicas out if they are not even going to be selling the jerseys this year.
