I was just looking, and I think I found an amazing explanation of our d-line recruits vs. TSUN's. This has nothing to do with rankings, but rather sheer size (and speed). Their best d-line recruit is Henry Poggi. He is a DT and he's 6'4" 260. We have a DE that is 6'5" 270 (Bosa)! I know they have a great o-line class, but if we swing dawson and johnson, i'd take our trenches vs. there's any day of the week (especially saturdays!). Just over a week until Hate Week!

bosa claims he is 6'6" 280... and oh yea does a standing back flip
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
Accidental down vote rickith, sorry man, my fat fingers slipped. Make it up to ya
@Alpo- gave him an up for you
Yay to Bosa's back flips. Sick. Someone also posted a youtube link of him squatting 500 lbs 8 times.
!
kid is a beast man. Cant wait to see him in the UA AA game and watching him work people on Saturdays
The d-line recruits in the 2012 and 2013 classes are the foundation to your title run... Urban knows the d-line disrupts everything for opposing offenses. It is sick watching what the staff is doing.
I'll take a good D line over a good O line anyday
O H I O is the Buckeye State
I'll take both. But if you saw the Eagles Oline Monday night, you should understand the importance of a "decent" Oline.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

Different sides of the same coin, really. The fact is you need to be able to control the LOS on both sides of the ball if you want to win consistently.
I don't know much about Poggi, but at 6'4'' he can probably put another 40 pounds on no problem. DTs are usually a little shorter anyway.
Ok, just looked at his picture and he can absolutely add some weight on his arms and upper body.
Bosa may have topped out anyway sizewize so I think this isn't really a big deal
Noah and Bosa sittin in a tree S A C K I N G!
Gross
Think about the past 2 classes... Spence, Washington, Pittman, Schutt, Bosa, Hill, Lewis, Sprinkle, and Price. That is going to be ridiculous especially since a lot of them are seeing valuable time this year. The younger o-linemen are going to turn out fine too. If they Urban and the staff can finish off with Dawson and Johnson in this class we will win in the trenches for years to come. We have to think about it this way... The 2014 class is the first class that the staff has had time to actually build solid relationships with. If they pull off a massive class in 2013, I can't imagine what they can do in 2014.
So because Bosa is an inch taller and 10 pounds heavier in high school, you'd take our lines any day of the week? Ok.
As it stands, I'll take Michigan's offensive line over ours. If we get Johnson and Dawson, I'll take ours, just because Johnson is a can't miss talent
Basd on how both classes will probably end up, it looks like we will have the better D-line, and they will have the better Oline.
You know what I like about our O-line right now? We have average talent on it and with the new coaches they have been coached up to be very good. So I'll take a solid O-line like we have right now, and the Elite D-line that is being built. If our O-Line can play like they h ave, but we have a monster D-line, this team will win a lot of big games.
And it definitely helps that our O line has such a great D line to practice against everyday. So our D line will only make our O line better. And once we get a great O line.. Vice versa
